We use these as water and food bowls for our dogs. They have held up beautifully for the 2 years that we have had them. I recently bought another one after we added another dog to our home. They wash well. I switch back and forth between hand washing and using the dishwasher and the bowls have always held up great with either option. We always bring these bowls with us when we are out of town and have the dogs and they have even held up to the abuse of the trunk. I highly recommend these no matter what your use for them may be.
