Directions
Shrimp needs to be fully cooked. Do not refreeze if thawed. Do not microwave.
Thaw
Refrigerator – Place bag of shrimp overnight in refrigerator (about 12 hours). Drain and cook.
Cold Water – Empty desired amount into a container of cold water for about 10 to 15 minutes. Do not thaw under running water. Drain and cook.
Skillet
1. Heat large skillet over MEDIUM-HIGH heat.
2. Melt 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter in skillet; add thawed shrimp.
3. Cook, stirring frequently, 4 to 5 minutes until shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.
Boil
1. Bring large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add thawed shrimp.
2. Cook 4 to 5 minutes until shrimp are fully cooked and opaque. Drain. Serve warm or refrigerate to chill.
For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F as measured by a food thermometer. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately."
