A: Thank you for your questions. Lasko has advised that their ionizer models only need a good vacuum use (every 1-2 weeks) to remove any dust build-up from within the unit.

Q: My current fan (different manufacturer) has audible beeps when I change speeds. Also, when I adjust my TV volume, the fan changes speed every time. Do either of these annoying issues exist with this fan?

Q: Does the noise level fluctuate? I don't mind white noise but another model of Lasko that I have doesn't produces inconsistent noise.

My partner and I needed a new fan to replace our old Lasko fan. This one was on sale, so we got it over some cheaper options. It is loud, and not in a nice white noise way. It sounds like a computer that’s running too hot. Could not fall asleep, the high-pitched drone is noticeable even on the lowest setting. Airflow was decent, but not worth the noise.

It keeps the room cool that I feel there is no need for air conditioner. It rotates which is efficient and has several speeds. I would recommend this product to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using it throughout my house. Since it is taller, or "XtraAir 48 Inch" then it just has more air it moves. I especially like it since my bed is a bit taller and the room smaller so I still feel the air circulating instead of it just hitting the base of the bed. Totally worth it for that feature. It still needs a big base, but regardless, liking the tower fan from Lasko.

This fan is awesome to where my husband and I have a “tug of war” on which side of the bed the fan should be on.. Needless to say, I went to buy another fan, but to my surprise, the price went up an extra $70.!! Hence the four-stars… Yow-za!! 😒 I’m still going to buy another one, but I’m just saying man.! 😔

This fan is amazing. Highly recommend, it only collected a little bit of dust and I have been using it for more than a year. The remote has a little hook so you can hang it! It’s also quite quiet.

I bought this mid April and it stopped working 1 month in. It began turning on and off at will, and eventually it never turned back on. Sadly, no matter where I plug it in the house , it doesn’t work. Very odd for a u. Loved the height and power when it worked , odd that was this is a trending complainant.

It stopped working after a month. I don't know why. I tried to plug it to different outlets but it ends up all the same--it operates for few seconds then suddenly just stops and won't work anymore. i loved the style of the fan but not as durable as the old lasko models

Bought this during Black Friday on sale. I didn't realize at the time of browsing and buying that this is probably the newer model of the same exact fan that my boss has in her office (sans remote) which I have a love/hate relationship with...it is so good, but sometimes too strong! I have the same feelings about the fan I bought but considering my house gets stuffy so easily and nobody is trying to pay those types of electricity bills, I am perfectly fine with it being too strong at home. I just wish it was a little quieter! I also bought one for my sister and she has nothing but praises!

I was so excited about this fan. It looks great and was easy to get the base attached. However, it would not operate. I plugged it into five different outlets in my house and it would not turn on. I returned the item.
