A: Hi KMM - Great question. While we have not done technical compostable testing on the lid for this fragrant Lavender & Bergamot 100% Soy Wax Candle by Everspring™, wood is generally compostable. I agree that this candle doesn’t have a strong scent however it’s perfect for me! I have a small bedroom & most candles are so strong it’s overwhelming & nauseating in my small room. But this one is great it has a nice subtle smell without giving headaches!

I can't believe all the bad reviews. They must be used to burneing the strong chemically overbearing candles. This is such a good midleground of unscented beeswax . This brand is the only brand I found that is actually labelling 100% soy. A lot of brand are missleading saying" plant-based" but most wax on the market are mixed with paraffin. Same for "coconut/apricot" all the trendy Greenwash brand. The candles I got burned beautifully. They do burn faster than beeswax but that is just the nature of Soy wax as it is softer.The scent to me was perfect , It was obviously there but not over the top. Ex I could smell it in the room from my hallway but not in all the rooms of the house. Sitting right in front of it in the room It didnt get overbearing. I used to burn lot of BBW candles but I became very sensitive to them and they would make me feel sick so I just stop candles all together for a while. My favorites are Beeswax but it is really expensive/hard to find as the nature of the harder to manufacture wax. Im really pleased I found these and the price is super resonable ^^. I tried 3 of this brand in different fragrances, I liked them all but That one and the Mandarin/Ginger are my favorite so far.

I love the subtle scents. It does not overpower your senses. I use it during my meditation sessions and it’s perfect. Agree with a reviewer about noticing the scent more after leaving and later returning to the room where the candle is burning. Will be buying more as this is my go-to candle from now on.
