Awesome apples
My students love these apples and I do too! They can sort by size and color or they can get more challenging and sort by apples that have leaves or worms. My students sort, make patterns, count, and recognize attributes with these apples! It pairs great with the book 10 apples up on top!

So many uses
I love these apples. I use them in the math center for counting, sorting, comparing, etc. I also put them in our sensory bins, our bug unit, and in the story center during our study on apples. Think outside the box and you'll find a million ways to use them! They are a great size, and the bucket they come in is adorable on the shelf.

Great! Fun!
My kindergarten students love these ltitle apples! They love discovering the different ways to sort (size, color, stem, leaf worm). They were a fun addition to our apple unit in the fall and also to use throughout the year. They are also great to use for patterning and story problems. They're sure to be a fun addition to your math manipulative collection!

Great Preschool Sorting Set
This sorting set is the perfect set for practicing preschool sorting skills with my almost four year old! The Attribute Apples sorting set comes with 27 apples in varying sizes and three colors (red, green, and yellow). The largest apples measure about 1.75" in diameter. The apples are durable and brightly colored, and some of them feature cute little worms! The fun is that this set is so versatile. You can sort the apples by size, color, or even features like the worms, leaves, and stem. The set comes with an apple crate cardboard storage box and an activity guide. My only complaint is that I wish the box was built better or from something other than cardboard so you have more durable storage for the apples. *This product was provided for me free of charge for the purpose of review.*

From an SLP
Attribute Apples is a Learning Resources product that will be a great addition to your preschool tool kit. Attribute Apples is a barrel of foam apples to be used for classification, sorting and more! The barrel contains 27 apples that are sorted by 5 different attributes. The attributes include size, color, stems, leaves and caterpillars! The apples are great for comparing and constrasting and working on the use of comparatives and superlatives.Attribute apples will make a wonderful addition to my Fall therapy bins! The apples are soft so this week one of my young kiddos and I took turns tossing them into the bucket. The gross motor movement was exactly what he needed. Then we created a sentence for the size. (I throw big apple.) The possibilities are endless for their uses in speech therapy! I was provided this product in exchange for an honest review.

Very Simple But Effective Game
The game is designed for kids ages 3-8, and it is basically a bucket full of 27 different apples with different attributes (3 different sizes, 3 different colors, 3 different physical characteristics such as having a worm, having a leaf, or having a stem). The purpose of the game is to work on classification skills, and my child really loves the challenge. It keeps her engaged for a long time, and she does a lot of good critical thinking every time she plays. The bucket comes with a removable divider so that you can put your apples in 3 different sections in the bucket. My daughter loves to use the bucket to sort her apples, and as soon as she finishes, she dumps them out and starts over! Her very favorite apples to find are the ones with the worms in them. While she is hunting for those, she ends up sorting out the ones with leaves and the ones with stems in the process. Once your child masters color, size and characteristics, there are also other, more advanced things you can do with attribute apples so that the fun can continue. One example is to use the apples to make patterns. This is too advanced for my child at this point, but over time we'll be able to use the apples for this purpose. This product is very simple, but is getting played with VERY frequently. I think it is well-designed and really captures the attention of little ones. I highly recommend it! I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion, which I have provided.

LOVE these!
This is a nifty little set. There are 5 attributes (size, color, and physical attributes). These are going to be a wonderful center for the fall. They will tie in perfectly to an apple unit. They can be used for sorting, patterning, and counting (I'm sure there are TONS of other ways we will be able to use them. I can't wait to use them with our Sorting Circles! The apples are durable and super cute! The little container is made to resemble a basket. It will hold up. The entire set is great quality...exactly what we have come to expect from Learning Resources.

A True Learning Experience
My 4 year old loves this. She started out sorting sizes, colors, leaves, worms, then moved into patterning. She's learning to add & subtract as well as using it as a tactile learning tool. We put all of the apples into the basket, and with her eyes closed, she's learning to sort the different apples by feel. She also uses it during pretend play by playing "apple store", which she "sells" the different apples for different prices with the cash register she got from Learning Resources. There are numerous learning possibilities with this toy & I highly recommend it.

Fantastic Product!
I received this to review and it is one of my favorite Learning Resources products! It comes in a good sturdy container that will last through a lot of use. The apples are very good quality, sturdy, and has extremely bright colors. I love that I can use it not only with my 2 year old AND my 5 year old but also with my husband's 2nd grade class. It can be used for something as simple as learning colors or as difficult as sequencing and patterns and of course everything in between. The kids thought they were the cutest apples and love the little worms! This would make a great homeschooler's hands-on resource as well as a great (quiet!) classroom activity center. I highly recommend it.

Cute, Fun and Educational!
This is an adorable set that has so many possibilities. First off the set comes in a sturdy cardboard apple barrel, which stores your apples nicely inside. You get three different colored apples (green, yellow, and red) and the apples are all different sizes, some even have cute worms! My boys (3 and 5) love sorting the apples and have been making up little games with them. I sort them and see if they can guess what they are sorted by, or I have them sort them a certain way. They even like to pretend to eat them! The apples themselves are pretty durable too, sort of a rubber material. I like that there is an included activity guide too so I have ideas of things to do with the apples. To store them we just toss them all in their dividers in the barrel and close it up! Its such a simple product but really educational, and the best part is that my boys don't realize they are even learning as we play with them!

Great tool for sorting/counting/etc.
These apples are such a cute, colorful tool that even come with their own storage bucket. They can be used for counting, sorting, pattern recognition, thinking skills for both younger and older children, etc. Plus, they're so cute, especially the little apples with the wormies. We'll be using these time and again for sure.
