This "balloon" is an excellent way to introduce young children to a round world and geography.
Could be better...

I have purchased multiple times for Kenya and Uganda. This is perfect for traveling to schools in developing countries. The children have very few resources and these are easy to pack and then inflate to show them the world and teach geography. Countries are clearly labeled and accurately placed. Sturdy enough for tossing around.
Wonderful educational toy

I bought this inflatable globe for my class to use during their free time (recess). It was educational as the kids eagerly explored the different countries printed on the ball. One of my students even learnt to spin this light-weighted globe on this finger and so I encouraged him to perform on stage this skill that he had developed. The joy of watching my student accomplish something on his own.

This globe inaccurately represents the international borders. The source of the map in not mentioned in the manual/booklet. Several borders are shown as disputed territories from the Chinese view while the borders that are disputed with China are shown as part of China. This map seems to be intended to misguide children from early ages on international borders and create prejudice on certain regions.
NOT a very good

If you only need an inflatable ball, then this would be fine. If you intend to use it to teach geography, then look elsewhere for a teaching tool. The seams on the globe are poorly aligned, causing some locations on the globe to get cut off, as well as giving the globe an awkward shape. Also, the lines of latitude do not line up well where the seams of the ball connect. I don't recommend this Learning Resources globe as a "learning resource."

Unless you want your child to think the Bahamas are next to North Carolina and Texas is Mexico buy a different globe. The print does not line up with the countries!
