WARNING! This product does NOT contain all letters of the alphabet! DO NOT purchase if looking for therapeutic intervention, as all letters are not present. Difficult for children with learning disabilities to order, spell, and match/learn letters. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Learning Resources, please redesign the container so that it fits all letters of the alphabet. A very, simple fix. So many, if not all, of you other toys contain complete sets. Disappointined I blindly purchased this item, thinking it would live up to the quality of your other products. I will be more skeptic and observant when purchasing in the future. Sincerely, an upset speech-language pathologist.

Children should be able to snap and match letters and lay out the entire alphabet. In order to do that, teachers must buy 2 sets. I think it would be better to have one letter on each alligator and include a complete set!
Just ok but well constructed

This alligator "toy" is a good fit for our library patrons with little ones - they like to play with them as little alligators and pull them apart and match the pieces.

My son loves playing with them. Not sure if he can match all his letters because there are 2 letters on each alligator.

I just bought this at the MiAEYC early childhood conference for my classroom, and I was very excited for my 2.5yr olds to use this. The first child I show it to, gets to the letter K and tells me there isn't a K. And as we continue on through the alphabet, I notice there isn't an X either. Instead of those letter, I have 2 duplicates. Since I got this at a conference, I dont know how to go about trying to get the missing letters. The kids do love this product, but I'm not happy about what's missing.

I am an EIP Kindergarten Teacher. I did not realize they had letters on each side. I would have liked for my class purpose to have one letter on each alligator.

Poorly made and check my photo. The n is upside down! (And no it's not the u, the other side matches Aa, and there is a different alligator with Uu)

Bad paint job

I like the idea of this toy and it is a cute design/concept. However, the quality of the paint is bad since it was coming off when it was fresh out of the container. I just hope the paint is not toxic as I'm sure it will continue to come off with use. The eyes were painted on poorly and there is excess paint on the snout and side of the head. One of the pieces has something broken inside so it shakes like a rattle. I just hope that the rubber does not come off so that piece won't fall out and my 2 year old swallow it. I have another product by this company and the paint job on it looks terrible as well. They may need better quality control. I agree with the review which mentioned it would have been better with 26 whole alligators instead of 13 with the other half of the alphabets printed on the other side.

My children are aged nearly 2, 4 and 6 years and they all love the Alligators and use them in different ways. The nearly 2 year old plays with them as 'just' alligators, he practices pulling them apart and pushing them back together, making up funny coloured versions or matching colours. My 4 year old matches the letters, colours and can recognise the letters from his name. My 6 year old can put them in alphabetical order. We have also made up our own game with the Alligators. Lots of fun to be had. Very well made and easy to store too. We were sent the Alligators for review purposes.

Pre-school has been a fun journey so far and my daughter comes up everyday talking about new things and of course a million questions. Her most recent question was the difference in lowercase and uppercase letters. I thought the Snap n Learn® Alphabet Alligatorsnofollow would be perfect to show her and help differentiate. She caught up pretty quick matching and creating all of the alligators. I liked that they were two sided and have a great container to store them in when not in use. Learning Resources is our go to learning toy line and we enjoy sharing their products with our readers. They have helped our daughter work on so many different learning tasks and overcome many obstacles from colors, letters, shapes and more. Their products are creative, effective and fun. A toddler wants to have fun and when they are having fun they are learning and taking in everything. Learning Resources allows for just that and i am pleased to recommend adding them to your holiday shopping list for the little learners in your life!
Letters not same on both sides

Adorable and easy to snap together, but packaging is a little mis-leading. On the packaging it states that there are 26 pieces...which leads one to believe that, since there are 26 letters in the alphabet, there are 26 pairs...which is not the case. There are 26 1/2 pieces, 13 whole alligators. Therefore, each alligator has one set of letters on his right side and a different set of letters on his left side. So, when the kiddos get to the 13th alligator (Mm), they have to backtrack to letter Z. It's confusing and a real disappointment to the little ones when they can't complete a line of alligators to the end of the alphabet. Great concept. Just need 13 more alligators so that all 26 alligators have the same letter on each side.
