This is a great headlamp for outdoor activities. My husband and I love to go camping and hiking in the spring and summer. Sometimes a flashlight is not always convenient when you need both hands. The headband is orange in color and fits comfortably around my head. It has four light modes (High Spot, Low Spot, Flood and Red) It is easy to operate and switching between light modes is as simple as pushing a button. I like that this headlamp is water resistant since it will be used outdoors and in all kinds of weather. It does require 3 AAA batteries to operate.
