I loved building this set. This is my 8th Lego set since my addiction started a year ago. The adult panda is bigger than I had anticipated, so excellent value and fun to build. I can’t bear to take them apart and build the orcas or penguins!

The concept is cool. The building experience isn't great if you decide to build anything but the Pandas. It makes you empty out all 5 bags at once. Then you get to a step where you have a missing piece. At this point you're already frustrated at looking for that one piece through 5 bags. Having to deconstruct the Orcas because of missing pieces and sifting through too many bags creates an experience that doesn't make you want to finish the product.

This would make a great gift for a child and mother to build together, or a grandchild and grandmother to build together, or a child to build and give as a gift, or ......... you get the picture! But, also, because it is a LEGO Creator Set, when Father's Day rolls around ........ a whole different gift and one a child can work on with a loved one or his/her own! Because it is LEGO, it doesn't need glue or paint so the critters do not have to be completed in one session and mistakes are easily corrected. Also, once the project is complete, they can be displayed right away!!

The brand is very durable and it came with very clear instructions. I think iit has great educational benefits too for young children as it promotes thinking skills, fine motor function as well as colors, shapes and sizes. The Lego brand appears to be well made, doesn't crack or break easily for safely reasons. I like that freatue. And the packaging that it came in was very inticicing and interesting as it helped your imagination as to which figure you wanted to make first!! It was missing one piece to make the penguins but we were able to make it work. This is a fantastic product!!

It's even suitable for adults too. You can built one animal at a time (as it's a 3in1 set lets kids build 3 different models). I recommend this Lego set as a fun activity for all of any age of 8+ - it makes the perfect gift.
