Q: What ages are appropriate
A: Depends on the person. "Officially" 18+, but that rating is for the difficulty/complexity/fiddliness. My kid put together the Pyramid of Gaza, which is also 18+, when she was 16. But she loves Lego and literally did the pyramid with no help in one afternoon! Do I think every 16-year-old could do that? No. But if you know a teen who really wants *this* set, and you know they have the patience, I wouldn't let the age rating stop you from purchasing it for them.
submitted bykrekel13 - 19 days agoA: The Orchids are recommended for individuals aged 18 and older. While we provide age recommendations for all of our sets, we also recognize that some builders progress quicker than others! - Chelsea, LEGO® Customer Service

Q: I don't see what you are to do with the brown pieces to fill in the pot?
A: U just loosely scatter them, it’s meant to be the dirt
submitted byImakeREVIEWS - 1 month agoA: Hi there! The brown pieces can be arranged in the pot however you like and are meant to imitate the mulch of a real orchid plant. - John, LEGO® Customer Service
