Wonderful build and super fun play!
My son 7, assembled by himself. He enjoyed the build and had no issues with the clarity of the instructions. Great incentive to build more sets, it was challenging but not overwhelming. The play value after build is exceptional. Loads of interactive play, the adults In the home have even enjoyed play battles. Fantastic value for the money. I wish I could give 10 stars on value!

Great Lego set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't quite tell who had more fun with this product—my boys or me! Putting this set together was a blast. Compatible for all ages as my boys, aged 7, 9 and 16, loved helping assemble it and playing with it afterward. The building instructions were super simple to follow. This set is not only very sturdy but also versatile; you can open and close it, move it around, and swap out different parts. I'm really impressed with the creativity and overall quality of this product!

A Great Build
Building this set was a lot of fun. I love the attention to detail and references to the Sonic games; it's not just a Sonic-themed set. References include a Chaos Emerald, a photo of Shadow and Maria Robotnik, and a shield item box. There were also some pieces that were new to me, such as the axels for the wheels. Overall, this was a fun build!

Very sad this was purchased as a Christmas gift for my son Zekke. He has been a sonic fanatic since toddler he was looking forward to add this collection to his but unfortunately the product came with more than 20 missing pieces and he wasn’t able to complete his build. Unfortunately we weren’t able to return it since the package was opened. A total waste of money so disappointed

A great set for both collectors and kids
The set is a very nice one. The Egg Drillster in particular reminds me of some of the old Power Miner sets, namely the mobile drill sets. The two badniks are decent additions to any Eggman army, and breakaway wall and lab area provide an actual play mechanic, unlike the small terminal that was part of the Death Egg Robot set. The Super Slammer for the Speed Sphere is the same as in its prior sets, just with the blue pieces replaced with yellow ones, which is a nice touch. In terms of minifigures, Eggman is fine, a second Shadow is always welcome, though the motorcycle set is more affordable for him, but still good to see him. The real selling point is the Super Sonic minifigure, which looks absolutely amazing. Bit of a recommendation, at least one future set in this theme should have a Metal Sonic minifigure. He's one of Sonic's most well-known adversaries, and seeing a minifigure of him would be interesting.

Fun to build and play with
Wow this set is incredible. I loved that it came in individual packs inside for what you are creating. This helped so much with keeping it all organized and not confusing any parts. The booklet was very easy and clear to undertand. It made it so my kids were able to build it with little help from me. The pieces all fit together very well and stayed together with no issues. My kids had a blast building this set as well as playing with it after. Great quality and fun.

Ok build, not so great price
The Drillster is a pretty good build, but it is inaccurate to the game. The lab build is small but I love the little prints on the computer and shield capsule. All the figures are good but when you put it all together, it doe look it’s price.
