    Awesome, but lacking in detail

The build itself is great, but I did notice that C-3PO does not have a silver right leg. The leg is supposed to be silver from the shin down, and the only silver part on the leg is his right knee.

    Very Fragile

This Falcon is a difficult build. It doesn’t have a lot of fun things inside it considering how huge it is. The build is extremely heavy, pieces fall off very easily and the best way to build it is to use the builder app. Even with the app it doesn’t provide you with a 3D view. If you want a long project build and are up for a major challenge then build this set. If you want a more exciting build there are other Falcons that have better designs and less pieces.

We’re sorry to hear that some pieces are falling off your build. Let’s fix this! You'll want to make sure that each part is positioned exactly as shown in the instructions and that everything is pressed together firmly. If you’d like a hand troubleshooting the build, feel free to reach out at LEGO.com/Service, we’re happy to help!

    Beware: Can be Confusing

This build is confusing at first, even for someone who has build dozens of large pieces before. This is the first box that I have seen that came with six different bags labeled "1" and still had two bags of other pieces not correctly labeled. Having said that, I LOVE the Millennium Falcon, and could care less about minor inconveniences such as that.

    Monster set

I have been planning to purchase The Falcon for about a year now and was finally able to get one. Everything about the set is exciting, the instruction booklet (binder), inner boxes, and outer box. I wanted to preserve the instruction manual and was disappointed that the 3D instructions weren’t available on Lego Builder. That was my only gripe. A harder than average but detailed build that I wouldn’t change. It looks absolutely fantastic. Pro tip if you buy this set, make sure you have plenty (and I mean plenty) of space when building lol

WOW, an imposing and brilliant set

I have waited long and hard for this set,so glad Lego has made a millenium falcon in the first place.Exterior is phenomenal and forever inspiring.Interior is not bad and does all it needs to do, It's not a play set so don't make the mistake of confusing it.Have had no problems with missing pieces.THANK YOU Lego and thank you Jesus.

    Genuinely disappointed...

I had waited a long before buying this set and honestly I'm so sad that I didn't go for the Rivendell set or similar instead. It does look impressive once built but the build process is frustrating and at times infuriating. The bottom panels are very difficult to attach and you constantly think you've built the top panels wrong as they don't attach well. The finished model is incredibly fragile and some bits seem designed to fall off. Mine is now in a box in a corner awaiting a rebuild after I was not quite careful enough when moving it. I know it's meant to be a display piece and I did enjoy some of the build but the fragility of the end result ruins it in my view.

    Star wars

My grandson is such a lego fanatic. He loves only the Lego brand. We tried buying a cheaper brand. He was so upset. I will never ever buy anything but The Lego Brand! He says there is a bi difference. Now that he is older he likes the harder ones.

    OH MY!

I have wanted this set for I dont know how long! Could never justify treating myself but bit the bullet before Christmas and saved the build till January to savour the anticipation. Was it worth it? Heck yes! The detail on the shell of the Falcon is brilliant and so detailed with very little repetition. The core is a really solid build. Must admit I was a little concerned with the light attachment of the upper shell, but once all locked together is fine. On completion I knew I had to light it up. First time I had ever done this - it involved dismantling different areas of the ship threading fine wires throughout. A bit of nightmare as parts fell off and had to reference the guide book to rebuild but so worth it. Had a sound kit with it so brings the whole thing to life. It now stands on it side soaring into space. An iconic build!!

    Great build, but very basic

This set was a fantastic build, but ended up being very disappointing. Once done it looks great, but never touch it again. Also many missed things that could have been done like rotating turrets, control for the ramp, retractable landing legs, even a hinged cockpit. For the price I would hope LEGO could do better. At the end of the day the thing is held apart terrible and any easy accessible hatches don’t access anything. For the price this was a huge disappointment. No cool feature like Lego usually does, and doesn’t feel like a solid piece once built. Maybe my own fault but it doesn’t even come with the display stand, that was also a disappointment. For the price I would expect better, great build, but fragile and disappointing.

    Disappointed

Bought this product thinking at the price it would be a good product. Started building and when I got to package 6 I found that there was a lot of parts missing. Upon checking packages 9 all the missing parts were there. Also packages 6 had parts for 9. Having sorted this out , continued building until I got to package 31 and 11 parts were missing. Had to stop at this point and request the required parts. Still waiting. Dissatisfied after having spent so much money and have finished up with nothing but problems.

    So fragile

This is a beautiful piece of engineering. However there are several sections, particularly the left rear, that are so flimsily attached to the main structure that they fall off at the slightest touch. Several times during the build sections would simply fall off from jostling of the model. It is nearly impossible to move this without significant pieces falling off, and impossible to play with any meaningful fashion. After having put together some other very large Lego sets, I am very disappointed that I will never be able to pick this one up to enjoy. Also, no R2D2???

Before you buy just a tip

As I open the boxes to start to build, nowhere on the 4 boxes inside or in the book dose it says that you should go box by box as all the boxes are full of different numbered bags. It doesn’t tell you what box first or anything. I’m learning this the hard way as I took all the bags out and put them in numbered groups thinking it would be like any other Lego set I’ve built, but no. I’ve now had to try and separate all the prices into groups and do it the hard way. Just a big tip before dumping everything out and spending hours n hours trying to figure everything out. But besides that I look forward to actually starting the build and having it done

    Looks awesome

Let me start off by saying it is a very cool set. However, the front missing a whole panel and the play feature on it is terrible every time you touch it. Something falls off or a piece goes flying for display purposes an awesome set. Just hope you never have to move with it top panels half of them just lay there nothing‘s connected like I said awesome set for display just disappointed with the actual build of it

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the look of the set, but we’re sorry to learn that aspects of the build and play features felt disappointing. The Millennium Falcon is designed primarily as a detailed display model, and we understand how panel stability and movement can affect the overall experience. Your feedback has been shared with our design team, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

Be prepared, this is not a plesant build.

I am very dissapointed in the build architecture of this product as it is very fragile. With the size and the weight (and the hefty price) I was expecting a more solid construction. The frame is strong but the plates that make up the exterior are very basic and do not have much structural strength or strong anchor points. If you build this and it is to kept within a glass display cabinet where it is never touched, then fine, but I want to enjoy my lego builds I want to appreciate the internal details of the product, but with this, when you remove a top plate to view parts of the Falcon, there is always a very high risk of something coming loose, and bits coming off. This totally spoiled it for me. When moving the falcon it is a gamble again as unless you manage to get your hands underneath in the correct spot's you will break bits off when you try to move it. I am absolutely gutted that I havent enjoyed this product, I saved for a couple of months to buy it, but this has 100% put me off buying any other large lego sets again. Lego to me is a peacefull enjoyable hobby, but this build, towards the end, nearly got thrown across the room with the poor build, and fragile pieces coming loose. I am very very disappointed with this set. I wish I bought Jabbas Barge instead or the Titanic, but now to be honest I am very reluctant to spend my money on any expensive sets now.
