Build and display a replica of the iconic Porsche 911 RSR with this buildable toy car from LEGO technic. This set was designed in partnership with Porsche, and captures the look of the actual car thanks to its sharp contours and aerodynamic detailing. This Porsche model car features an independent suspension & a six-cylinder boxer engine among other details. The cockpit is accessible and has a radar screen, fire extinguisher and working steering. Black spoked rims, a realistic head & tail lights, and the authentic red, black & white color with sticker details make this model a great display piece for your office or home.
This is the set i bought myself for Christmas and i HATE it. It’s only function (steering) is hard to reach and works really bad. It has so much backlash that you can turn it’s steering up to 90 degrees without any response. I would have preferred buying the land rover instead.
Great car. Looks great. It’s a quality build. My only complaint is that the instructions were not clear on several steps. It took a bit of sleuth work to figure out how to attach a few parts. Other kits have had better instructions. It’s a nice big car. The other issue is that the parts bags are not numbered. Instead of building by the bag, I had to sort the entire parts count first which was slow but better in the end anyway.
Got this Porsche as a Christmas present. Building it was a great fun and end result is beautiful. Only downside was that I have experienced shortage of pieces. There was two pieces missing in the set. I did manage to go around it with some improvisation. Overall great set.

Oh no! It’s very rare for a LEGO® set to be missing pieces. Usually you’ll find them stuck in the packaging, used in place of a similar piece, or hiding somewhere near your building area. If you’ve checked all over and the parts haven't appeared, don’t worry! It’s super easy to request replacements. Just go to LEGO.com/BricksPieces to get started.
As a porsche fan I must admit the attention to detail of this GT car is unbeliveable. Great job to the lego engineers who comeup with all the sets. It took myself and my son about 8 hours to build this over 2 days but it was well worth it. Before starting to build this set I recommend getting a couple of plastic containers to separate the connectors and small pieces. That way you won't drop any on the floor and lose them. My son has already asked me to get the Bugatti set to start building to his lego technic car collection.
