Lenovo ThinkVision MC60 Webcam Black USB 2.0

READ THIS FIRST - the suffix (S) means short. this camera is NOT for larger monitors os 32in. This wasn't obvious in the description...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Camera did not power on when plugged into ThinkVision Monitor. Plugged in another device into the USB port to ensure the port was functional which it was. Then it took four attempts to get a return label.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Security: Has two physical switches. One to close the camera’s optics and one to turn off the microphone. Windows Hello works well. Setup: Plugged right in to the top of my monitor’s usb port. Adjustability: The height and angle can be adjusted.

Very pleased with the neat and smart design of this well integrated webcam for certain Lenovo monitors. It has all the adjustment needed and fits perfectly with the monitor. The ‘in use’ lights are all very easy to see and the in-built shutter is easy to operate making it simple to be comfortable over privacy concerns. Other settings are easily controlled by the Lenovo Accessories App. It is worth noting (and this information was very difficult to find out) that one should use the MC60 (S) for monitors up to about 24” / 25” as the MC60 version is designed for larger monitors than this and it will be too tall to fit flush with the top bezel. You can check the relevant compatibility matrix on the Lenovo website to determine which is right for your monitor but it would be helpful if Lenovo explained this in the sales information for these items. I have given it 4 rather than 5 stars only because the image quality, whist good (and certainly more than acceptable) is perhaps not quite as sharp as I would ultimately like. A nicely integrated product that functions well. I would have no hesitation in recommending it or purchasing it again.

Really nice integration with the monitor. None of the advanced tracking or angle functions seem to work for me on Windows 10. I set them in the Lenovo app but nothing seems to happen.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Fits in the slot of my Lenovo P24h-30 monitor and functions as advertised. The design of the camera alone with the extension suggests that it should fit flush to the top of the monitor, but it doesn't, there's about a 1cm gap that allows for pitch articulation of the camera, which is understandable, just kind of aesthetically unpleasant to be staring at the ASM and FRU numbers and QR code when I look at the top of the monitor.

The product is good and superior to the one installed on my ThinkPad X1. The delivery took forever, and I'm still waiting for the refund from the first one that was not compatible with my laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is compact and sits nicely on top of the monitor. It integrate well with the soundbar actually looks like part of the monitor. I was quite happy with the way it integrated with the monitor and how well it looks. Besides the great design, it has an excellent picture quality and it works with Windows Hello. Very happy with it.
