The display quality and overall performance of this LG Ultrawide Monitor are excellent, and I’m very happy with the visuals. However, the Type-C port does not work at all—it won’t connect to any compatible devices. Only the HDMI port functions properly. This is disappointing, and I hope LG addresses this issue quickly.
Excellent combo of price, quality, and dimensions

Kept the box 'cuz I wasn't sure I would keep it. It's still sitting behind me bookshelf. I'm pleased to say I will be keeping the box, not because I intend to send it back but in case I need to tap into the warranty. This was the PERFECT blend of the exact amount of screen real estate, price point, and quality that I wanted. Buying electronics online can be tricky but I am an LG fan now. If you're looking for a screen that gives you the most productivity bang for your buck (and saves you some bucks) I HIGHLY recommend.
Great value.

4 out of 5 stars overall: 1. Best & Cost effective Full HD IPS 29 inch Ultrawide Monitor by LG - for Work from Home purposes to extend the monitor as an extended 2nd display for your laptops at home. 2. It was delivered in a good condition and the support provided during booking was good when the website had a few hassles. 3. USB-C (additionally had to be purchsed) to extend the laptop for work + HDMI cable (given by LG in the box) for laptop extension. 4. Display quality is good and settings can be adjusted in the monitor itself. What could be improved: -------------------------------- 1. Display view is protruding forward in the center than backwards (as in the case of other curved monitors where it is always backwards in the center portion). Not sure if there is a setting for this. This was not mentioned anywhere in the manual or in this product specs. LG Support can clarify on this (if there is any setting). 2. Sound quality of the speakers are average. 3. USB-C Cable could be provided in the pack/box along with HDMI.

The husband bought this monitor to compliment a new CPU purchase for the wife. It was very nice in color and clarity; yet the narrowness of the design caused desired data to not be as easily visible as 16:9 monitors. This monitor is more 21:6 in ratio. Had it been 16:9, it would not have been returned.

I bought this about a month ago and I'm quite happy with it. I picked a slightly lower specs monitor that is more affordable since my work won't get me a ultrawide and I didn't want to spend too much of my own money. I've been using on screen control and loving it. I'm going to see if it supports DUAL CONTROL soon. Picture quality is not the best, but if you're not a pro user, you will barely notice it. Speaker is low quality, but it's ok.
I can see clearly now.

I've had this monitor for less than a month to replace another manufacturers monitor just three years old. The problem is that when I bought a 55 inch LG C1 television the desktop computer monitor I was using was not as vibrant and colorful as my TV! It should be since I sit so close! The choice was clear, I had to have an LG monitor with HDR capability.
Excellent Monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor represents an excellent 21:9 display option suitable for both home and office environments. With a resolution of 2560x1080, it offers a visually appealing experience, delivering a beautiful picture despite not reaching the 1440p mark. Additionally, its IPS panel ensures an impressive 99% color accuracy, further enhancing the overall visual quality. The HDR capabilities of this monitor are truly remarkable, adding an extra layer of depth and vibrancy to the display. However, when it comes to gaming, it is important to note that its performance is merely satisfactory. With a refresh rate of 100Hz and 5ms response times, I wouldn't recommend it for competitive gaming enthusiasts who require optimal responsiveness. That being said, if you lean more towards casual gaming or enjoy indie and single-player games like myself, this monitor proves to be an excellent choice. It excels in providing an immersive experience tailored to these gaming genres. If I were to make one alteration, it would be to increase the refresh rate to 120Hz and lower the response time to 1ms. This enhancement would further enhance the monitor's gaming capabilities. Nevertheless, despite this minor drawback, it remains a great monitor that I wholeheartedly recommend to others.
Works great!

If I could change one thing, it would have probably gotten a bigger one. A 29" ultrawide is vertically challenged. I you are buying one to fill your view at a 3' distance, this size just doesn't do it. Other than that, the monitor performs well enough. It was new and in good condition. Build quality is solid. This is a matte display so contrast could be better, but this is the only option for me given the glare situation in my room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been around a month since I own the monitor; the quality of the image is good, the refresh rate is reasonable, and the sound of the speakers is terrible, so better to connect your computer or any other device to another sound system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen itself is generally pretty good. The sync frequency can cause issues until it's adjusted to match the graphics card you have. The base design leaves much to be desired. The balance of the monitor is heavily skewed forward: it falls over super easily and any amount of pressure damages the screen irreparably (which isn't covered by the manufacturer's warranty).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG UltraWide 29WQ600-W Monitor has the most bright and vivid colors. It is the largest monitor that I have ever used at my office. I can put several programs on the screed at once so that I don't have to toggle between them. It is sharp and refreshing looking. I absolutely love it and you will too. I have already recommended this to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter decided to replace the monitor in her home office with a widescreen. I thought the old one was fine, but I don't use the computer nearly as much as she does, so... Well, this new LG monitor is a huge improvement. I didn't realize how inferior the old one was until I started using this one. The screen on this monitor is so much bigger, brighter and clearer - things that I didn't appreciate until now. I'm so glad she did this upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor is great and has everything I expected out of a 29 inch WFHD monitor. Especially thequality of the IPS panel is great. The only con is the stand that stands at a low height and doesnt allow portrait placement or raising height also the range of tilt is limited. Apart from that the inbuilt speaker gets loud.
My First Widescreen Monitor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not only my first LG monitor but also the largest monitor I have owned as well as my first, widescreen. I absolutely cannot believe that I can do what was taking me two separate monitors on just this one monitor. This was the main point, or desire, in my wanting to own a widescreen monitor was to be able to condense and not have to use multiple monitors. So this also means using less electricity as well. I did not know until after the fact that it has built-in speakers. The sound quality is excellent and does not distort at higher volumes. I was using a wireless Bluetooth speaker but I have switched over to using LG's internal speaker on this monitor which also uses this technology called Waves MaxxAudio. The clarity for someone with less than 20/20 vision is impeccable. There are many settings options such as Custom, Cinema, Vivid, HDR Effect, FPS, RTS, and a reader mode (that has that sort of tablet sepia color to it). I will generally use the Custom feature. I like the Super Resolution+ and Black Level settings as it makes the text stand out better. Under Settings, Picture, Color Adjust, there is a Gamma feature with four separate modes. Choosing Mode 3 enhances text clarity even further and is what I am currently using. Other features include the ability to tilt the monitor forward and back. It does not have an option to raise the height of the monitor and if I had to list any cons that are literally the only one I can think of. On the rear of the monitor where the ports are there is a USB-C port which could be used to charge any devices that use a USB-C charge cable. This is definitely a monitor I would recommend for anyone to use and I mean that especially if you are working from home or for any businesses seeking to upgrade their current monitors for their employees. This is such a major space saver being able to use this one monitor and it looks so much cleaner as well.
