Q: How many HDMI cords are necessary to connect this to a laptop? Do I need to buy a splitter? Do the cords come with the monitor?

submitted by Hafsah - 8 months ago
  • A: Hi Hafsah, thanks for reaching out about Packard Bell airFrame 43" Dual Monitor Workstation The Airframe includes 2 HDMI cables in the box with the device. However, most laptops will require a docking station that supports multiple displays to connect to both monitors. To better understand your individual needs, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

  • A: Two HDMI cords and two power cords come with it... kinda ridiculous if you ask me but for the price its decent. You need to get an hdmi splitter if you are connecting it to a laptop with 1 hdmi port.

I'm very disappointed as this is exactly what I wanted, but the monitors simply do not work. The computer recognizes the are on so it's not a power issue, but the display will not do that - display. Entirely broken an irreparable. Returning with prejudice

The monitors are good viewing. (please disregard typos) for some reason"provide a brief description appears where I need to write). Anyways, the screens are good, looks great. Can't wait to play video games on them. I am using as dual monitor though. I don't like that the monitors adapaters are separate though. Also, if you are planning use these monitors as dual screen, I advise you to get "USB-C Dual HDMI Adapter" or a split xtender to use one device like a laptop.

I purchased this over christmas and they have been a massive pain. One monitor came out of the box not working, as another reviewer experinced. I immediately returned it and ordered another online. I got my fresh set at the beginning of Feburary. Now it is march 7th and one of the monitors has just gone black. Its a bummer since when it works its a pretty good deal for decent value. However, with these issues it is very hard for me to reccomend this purchase.

Faulty Stand

Emily - 5 months ago
I was disappointed by how difficult the set up was. I have assembled similar stands before and read all of the directions. The adjustable height part of the stand was completly faulty. No provided tools loosed the screw enough and the handle just got in the way. I had to strip the screw and use my own tools. It is too bad becuase now the stand is stuck at the height it is at. Assembly took far too long. I needed new monitors ASAP so they will do for now but it is too bad they did not live up to the product descritpion. Screen quality fine, not great but expected for the affordable price.

After breaking my head and switching cables and adjusting settings, I could not get one of the monitors to show a picture. This was supposed to just be a plug and play, replacing two old monitors for the two new ones but it was anything but that. One of the monitors has a bad back light straight out of the box. Frustrating

At first, the Packard Bell airFrame 43” Dual Monitor Workstation felt more like a dual headache workstation. Getting both monitors to work with my MacBook and the dock I bought required more trial and error than assembling IKEA furniture without instructions. But once I figured it out (spoiler: update your drivers, double-check your cables, and maybe sacrifice a USB-C cable to the tech gods), these monitors turned into absolute champions. The screens are bright, crisp, and large enough that I can have 32 tabs open while pretending to be productive during Zoom calls. The stand is sturdy, though it has the vibe of being a little too proud of itself—like it knows it’s holding up two monitors. A bit smug, but I’ll allow it. Would I recommend it? Absolutely—but only if you’re okay with a 30-minute session of feeling like you’re trying to hack into the Pentagon just to get your setup working. Once you do, though, you’ll feel like a tech wizard. All in all, these monitors are worth the initial struggle. Just remember: patience is key, and so is a good search engine.

Dual Monitor Setup

Dillon - 5 months ago
This setup is..okay. The sizing is correct 43” but the screens look so small even though they are 21.5”. The instructions are also unclear. When you’re placing the mount on the post and tightening it, it doesn’t show how to tighten it properly. There’s a lever you have to pull outward and act as if it’s a screwdriver tightening the frame down. That was not. Lear in the instructions and I grew frustrated that I didn’t have all the parts I needed. Will the monitors sit right next to each other? Yes, but it’s very difficult getting the correct tilt to put them together. Build quality is great, I’m not sure why people are saying anchor it down. I have mine not anchored and it works like it should.

This set up is awesome for the price this whole thing for under $170 is mind blowing! It works great and easy to assemble. If you are having an issue with the screen facing downwards you need to use the Allen wrench provided to tighten the screw where the screen slides into. I will say the stand takes up a lot of surface space but it’s whatever.

Takes Up Too Much Space

Annster - 6 months ago
I was super excited to finally set up my home office, but it was a bit too much for my liking. The base takes up a lot of space and the screen ends up protruding past the base that’s already taking enough room. Hard to assemble, hard to maneuver the screens, and a bit bulky for smaller set of screens. Love the idea though!

This dual monitor workstation takes dual monitoring to another level. The monitors have the ability to flip from horizontal to vertical view and stands on a sturdy mount stand. The monitor screens are a generous size with excellent display and the ability to adjust screens makes it easy for you work needs. I love how you can adjust both screens in various ways and without worrying about them falling because of the study and secure mount. My husband often uses this for his work as well. Highly recommend for your home office!

Nice Dual Monitor Setup

5 out of 5 stars
Thumbs up graphic, would recommend
Greeneee0 - 6 months ago
The Packard Bell airFrame 43" Dual Monitor Workstation is a good productivity or work from home package. The setup is packaged nicely and easy to assemble. The quick start guide is easy to follow and includes tools. The monitor stand requires four screws to attach the base and the arm has a lever that tightens or loosens a clamp so it can easily be adjusted vertically. The bracket arms may take some time adjusting to your liking. There is a little play in the monitors/bracket that may require some extra time adjusting. The monitors will require a docking station or the ability to connect two HDMI cables (included) to a workstation or laptop. Upon turning on the monitors, the default out of box picture is good and didn't need any adjustments. However, if adjustments need to be made, the menu is easy to navigate to adjust your typical monitor settings. The Power button on the back of the monitor also serves as a directional pad for the menu. The option to have a portrait monitor is a plus but both modes are easy to adjust with the monitor/stand. Overall, the Packard Bell airFrame 43" Dual Monitor Workstation is good setup that includes everything you need for a nice dual monitor setup.

These monitors are great. It’s neat that they can be turned either direction. I use them the classic, horizontal direction. They were easy to set up and install. The quality seems to be great. The image quality is pretty impressive for this price point. These are lightweight, but sturdy and a nice value.

These were easy to set up, and have a crisp picture. The base is big, but with how flexible the arms are, it is needed for stability. They look great! Each monitor has a power brick, which is a little unusual. Includes nice cable management
