I have been looking for a table lamp with this shape to match a pair of walls sconces in a newly decorated bedroom. These are the perfect shape and Target's price was $40.00-$80.00 lower than every other vendor on the web. Not a great lamp for reading, but decorative and pretty. Shipping took a bit longer than originally stated, but was worth the extra savings.

The lamps themselves are absolutely beautiful, love , love, love them until I turned them on at night and you can see right through the lampshade, you can see the bulb and the hardware inside the lamp. It's too bad they put such an inexpensive lampshade on such a classy lamp that looks very expensive. I contemplated buying two heavier black lampshades that you won't see through but they were going to cost quite a bit, I even thought of spay painting them black over black hoping it would help to make the lampshades darker but I was told by several people that it would not make a difference. I even tried to come up with a way to line the inside of the shade but the inside of the shade is too close to the bulb and I was worried about it catching on fire. So reluctantly I had to return them. OH and if you think maybe a lower watt bulb then what they supplied would do the trick well I tried that too and you could still see the bulb and hardware.

Extremely pleased with this purchase. I had been looking for crystal lamps for my bedroom for quite some time. After multiple purchases that didn't work out - crystal that really looked like cheap plastic, too small lamps - these were the winners. Elegant design, perfect size, quality crystal - not acrylic/plastic!

Beautiful lamps, but mine did not come with the three way switch as stated so I would have to add bulky dimmer switches. Thinking I will probably have to return them because of this which is a pain.
