Soup beloved by generations
When I was little, my grandma would make me this soup when I was sick. She made it other times (usually in winter) but I distinctly remember being given this soup, a cup of ginger ale, and saltines when I was ill "because chicken soup is almost as good as medicine", according to Mawmaw. Now I'm grown with a little boy and he loves this soup any time, especially when he's sick "because it's what your mawmaw made for you when you were sick." After all these years, the soup is still a delicious and affordable pantry staple.

This is my go-to during norovirus season. Whenever I can’t eat anything, this soup with crackers and ginger ale allows me to actually get something in my system. Recommend over ramen or Campbell when you have a sensitive stomach.

Gamey Flavor
Very disappointed with the flavor of the Lipton Extra Noodle Soup Mix. I recently had the one marked "Kosher" and it was delicious - just as I remember it from years ago as a kid. Thought I'd try the Extra Noodle and the taste and smell were quite gamey. Very offputting. I won't be buying it again.

Sodium Levels are outrageous
I have been eating this soup since I was a kid, about 30 years or so. I never looked closely at the nutrition label - 670mg per serving! and 6 servings per box! That means every time I use 2 packets, I have consumed 4200mg of salt. Absolutely outrageous. Quite disingenuous, borderline fraudulent to break a packet into 3 servings to show a nutrition label that makes it look reasonable. No wonder my blood pressure was elevated at the doctor's office. I had 2 boxes of the soup in my pantry, just threw them out. Will never buy again.

I like this soup. I do not consider it bland and I’m confused by some of the reviews here. It does not have the depth of a chicken soup made from scratch but it gets the job done. This is one of my go tos for ease of use and lower overall sodium than some instant soups. I enjoy making this more filling by adding some mixed frozen veggies.

What have you done to the taste of your soup?
I have not had Lipton box soups in over 20 years. I bought a box today because I just remembered it tasting so good. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. It smelled and tasted horrible. Nice, quick soup mix
We get this soup all the time. My daughter is 13 and doesn't really cook on her own yet but she manages this just fine. She really likes the extra noodle version. Super simple and quick to make, no fuss, and the kids love it. We will continue to buy this brand for convenience.

Warms you right up
This is the soup my mom always made when we were sick and it brings back good memories. I use it when my family is feeling a little under the weather, and it warms us from the inside out! My childhood
This was my sister and I's favorite soup! It sadly was even my sister last meal before cancer took her. This is a classic in my family! However I'm not sure what is going on if everybody else has heard about this powdered gold but I cannot seem to find it at any of my local food stores! I am besides myself just trying to grasp onto any piece of my childhood I can!

Soooo, if it's not real chicken broth, what is it? Chemicals? Kind of deceptive how they list this with Real Chicken (caps), "flavor" much smaller. And they say "Extra Noodles". Seriously? If this is extra noodles wonder what it was before.

Bio Engineering changes the taste
Use to buy this all the time. I loved this stuff. But recent purchased soup tastes different, not in a good way. It tastes sour or spoiled. I then noticed that they use Bio Engineered Food products. Now I understand and have lost faith in the brand. I miss the old recipe and won't be buying in the future.

I am very disappointed in your extra noodle chicken soup. There is no taste, what happen to all those green spices that used to be in the soup. I always ate Lipton soup as a kid.
