Target sold me a used and DIRTY toy!
I am beyond upset. I purchased this toy in store as brand new, with the intention of saving it for my child for Christmas. When I finally opened it, I was shocked to find that it was used and dirty. I am absolutely disgusted. I am now outside of the return window, but I am beyond livid. The toy is filthy, with stains all over it. I feel deceived, especially since the item was sold as new, despite the box being slightly beat up at the store. I am heartbroken, but most of all angry that my child’s Christmas present was ruined. This was a complete waste of my money, and I will be throwing the item away.

Purchased in June and our 2 year old has rarely gone near it until recently, the hair back is flimsy and he lent back on it and the plastic bent back meaning he fell over. The back now has a white line through it and must have a weakness in the plastic, if someone could contact me that would be great thank you you have my email we are based in the UK

Issue with closing panels
The toy itself is a hit, but the hatch/panels could definitely be easier to close. The hatch that you can go in and out of is impossible for my 3yo to close by themselves, the electrical panel can't close with the wires in it, and the viewing panel barely stays up. My kid still loves it, and it's sturdy, but nothing closes easily.

Plastic is warped. Not worth the price
Decent toy, but ours came warped. It’s mostly noticeable on the top cone, and the control panel door. I’ve already put it together so it’s not worth taking it all apart and sending it back, but I definitely wouldn’t buy again or recommend anyone else buy it. At least not for $175. If you absolutely must get it online, check the pieces BEFORE assembling it.

I'm so disappointed in you Target this is a gift for my grandsons 1st Birthday it arrived with one whole side of the box open and stuff hanging out! I'm praying it is all there as I do not have time to repurchase and return before his birthday party.

Flimsy doors, lack of imagination, disappointment.
I really wanted to love this product but the quality is just not there. Both the hatch and the control panel doors do not shut completely and are very flimsy. I expected the hatch to actually latch not stay ajar.another thing that bummed me out was the star visor thing that hangs in the nose part of the space ship. It's just a purple see through window with 5 stickers you put on.. this product had a lot of potential but it really falls flat. More features like dials or even more lights would have made this product more worth the money. Just 4 lights and sounds for the control panel and a gear shifter on the inside does not provide a lot of possible imagination play. The base and main rocket part is sturdy but all the doors are just thin plastic. This product could have included more to live up to the little tikes name

Underwhelming & overpriced
Looks great but does very little. It’s an impressive piece visually - would make a great prop for photographs at a party, but other than a couple of underwhelming small buttons that make a quick sound and a slight light, it doesn’t really do much. There’s some little accessories like a magnifying glass and rocks plus a crawl space door which is fun, but the price and size doesn’t really reflect the lack of entertainment it brings. If they added more buttons with astronaut and alien sounds and maybe a big countdown voice that created a simulation of a blast off it with some exciting lights, it would improve it a great deal. Seems incomplete and underwhelming. Took us longer to build it than the kids wanted to play with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is a pretty large toy at 4ft which the children absolutely love. The children pretend to be astronauts and love to sit in the rocket and role play. It has a star viewer screen which is really fun to look up at. There is so much to do with the adventure rocket such as Operate the control centre, look through the telescope, watch for shooting stars, crawl through the escape hatch, and hang on tight while working on the outer maintenance panel.

Almost as advertised
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who likes planets. The only problem that I am having is getting the space window to come down inside. I am afraid of applying too much pressure so it doesn't shatter. Any suggestions?

Absolutely awesome space toy!
The only complaint I have is the instructions. I'm very recently ADD diagnosed.....and let me tell you. The instructions were written by someone that needs to be as well! I felt like I was constantly going back and forth to build this thing!!! Other than that ...it is amazing!! I did buy it for my one year old as a bday present cause ...well spoiled 🤣. His theme has been all things space stars and moons since before he was born and his first bday was no less. When I saw this, I wanted it for pictures originally. I had no idea how big it was gonna be 🤣 he plays in though. His sister and brother definitely love it. It's not overly heavy thankfully and it's roomy for them too play with it. I did keep the small bits out for now. Just he's still a chomper on everything. I really love the space scene attachment in it. The whole thing is just adorable though.

Screws fall out!
We bought this for my son for his birthday. He is obsessed with outer space and loves this toy. However, the screws keep constantly falling out no matter how tight they are. This is a huge risk as I have caught my 11 month old with one of these sharp screws in his mouth. Thankfully I was able to catch it before anything horrible happened!

Terrible quality. Some screws don’t tighten so choking hazard if they ever come out. Poorly fits together and heavily scratched window.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has played with this rocket every day since we got it a month ago. A toy which allows my son to do imaginary play. Very sturdy product, the control panel is bright and loud with realistic space sounds. He loves crawling through the door and pretending to be in space. The accessories are rocket like with space rocks and a magnifying glass. I would recommend this product to parents who want their child to have hours of fun
