Step2 Woodland Adventure Playhouse & Slide

The playhouse is good quality and darling! The reviews are accurate, this is a 6 hour assembly job for one person. There are certain steps that are helpful to have a second person. This is large for our 18 month old, but I wanted something he could grow into! I like that it’s not a huge chunk of plastic.

Lovely structure but not all of the holes drilled correctly. Got it together anyway. Be prepared to spend some time organizing and labeling all wood parts prior to assembly and about six hours to assemble.

We got this for our 2 year old son, and it is perfect!

I was pleasantly surprised that the play structure frame is made of wood and therefore, very sturdy. The assembly was a bit challenging and we had to hire a handyman.

Just finished assembling this quality play set today and my 18 month old loves it! My husband and I assembled it together and it took 3 hours (we are relativity competent and efficient). Definitely lay all the pieces out prior to assembly! This is the perfect size for a small yard and I think our daughter will enjoy it for a least a couple of years.

I was a little afraid when my wife purchased this. I was surprised that it was made pretty good. I was able to assemble it in about 5 hours by myself, everything went together well. You need to take your time and go by step by step. Now I just have to finish the play area with Ground Smart mulch.

Just be prepared to spend hours putting this together and then just hiring a company to do it anyways

This product is will made and excellent for children to play on. It took a sometime to put together but it worth it.

Good structure. It's cute, and well designed. The cedar is wonderful, and should age well. There are just a few issues we have with it. The ramp into the structure is very slick. We're planning on painting it with some textured paint. And the plastic step up to the upper deck isnt wide enough. We're going to remove the step and add a wooden one that spans the whole width.

Ordered Step 2 Woodland Adventure Playhouse & Slide for our 2-year-old grandson to play on now & our 7-month granddaughter to use in the future. Assembled wooden parts & plastic slide walls with help of my 2 son-in-laws in a few hours & basically installed the remaining plastic structures myself in a couple hours the next day. Needed wife to hold 2 roof structures while I screwed them together -- somewhat awkward inside installation due to roof pitch, but screwed in securely by hand. Very impressed with quality -- cedar boards virtually perfect & parts fix together well with very little trouble. Mine included extra screws & other hardware, including very helpful allen wrenches & drill bit screw guides. Playhouse interior measures 29" x 39" -- plenty of space for a couple of small children even though slide step & corner sink take up space. Haven't yet added the pull-out drawer under the playhouse, but am thinking of trying it on the slide side rather than the recommended sink side. Grandson loves it & should serve him & granddaughter well for years to come with recommended annual weather-proofing of the cedar. Somewhat pricey, but purchased online from Kohl's & got $100 in Kohl's Cash. And when grandkids outgrow it, it's little & light enough (less than 200 pounds) to sell to someone who can carry it away in a pickup truck. Very pleased.

The quality of materials exceeded my expectations. Don’t let the assembly scare you. Easy to follow instructions, well labeled parts, and everything lined up perfectly! Our grandson is thrilled with his new playhouse!

This playhouse is amazing for little kids. Ours love it!

This playhouse is great if you are dealing with a smaller space or awkward yard. The quality of the wood is by far above its competitors. Water Treated cedar. All holes lined up and hardware was there with extras! Took 2 people about 3.5hrs to build. Highly recommend building on a flat level surface before moving to yard.

This definitely took my husband 7 hours to build, but the joy our little boy found in his new fort was worth his daddy’s effort. Per my husband, assembly was easy until the roof and storage box, but he was also tired. Definitely use drill bits to assist with roof. Very sturdy and our son immediately loved it. Will recommend this product to everyone we know. Thrilled with this beauty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The actual playhouse is fantastic, but the assembly was a challenge. It was also missing a small piece for the kitchen area. You definitely need a good drill and a full 8 hours.

This playhouse is awesome! Our 2.5 daughter runs outside to play on it first thing every morning. It took us about 6 hours to build (2 adults), but other than that it's great!

This is perfect for our young grandchildren. I am able to sit and just watch them play!

Bought this for my 2 and 4 year old boys, they absolutely love it! It came very fast even during covid! My husband put it together in a couple of hours. I would suggest to lay out all the pieces in groups according to steps to make assembling go even quicker! Kids play nonstop in it and the buying, shipping process was flawless. We have bought several step 2 products since this purchase and highly recommend their products!!

The playhouse is great. We purchased it for our 2 two year old granddaughters. As one other owner mentioned the ramp to enter is a bit steep and could use a hand rail to hang onto. Otherwise I highly recommend for durability, fun, and safety.
