LMNT Zero-Sugar Electrolytes Drink - Citrus Salt - 2.1oz/10ct

A: Hello! No, LMNT Zero-Sugar Electrolytes drink mix generally does not significantly change the color of the water. Because the formula is designed without artificial colors or dyes, the resulting drink is typically clear or nearly clear. The mix is colored only by the natural, food-based ingredients, which are light in color.

A: Are these the same from Amazon? The ones from Amazon taste different.

A: no it does not. But it does make your water look very cloudy (if using 16oz of water). The more water you use, the less cloudy it will look.

A: Hi there! The question of how much sodium we need is a highly individualized one. We dive deeper into this topic in the article, "Is Sodium Good or Bad for You?" A: LMNT does not use Himalayan salt, sea salt, or table salt. These are all sources of sodium chloride (salt) and each comes with certain tradeoffs. LMNT’s salt is extracted and produced in Hutchinson, Kansas through an evaporated manufacturing process. Hutchinson, Kansas — or Salt City, as it’s known — is home to salt deposits that were formed about 300 million years ago from a “great inland sea” that has since been covered up with earth. These deposits sit between 500 and 1,000 feet below the Earth’s surface and are regarded as one of the purest salt deposits in the world.

A: Hi! Great question. LMNT products do contain a sweetener, but it is not a synthetic sweetener. We chose stevia as a sweetener for its exceptional flavor and glycemic index of zero — it tastes great, but it shouldn't raise blood sugar! A: Hi! This is one of our most common questions, and the answer is: "it depends." Since health is highly individual, your unique needs will ultimately depend on a number of factors. A: That's a great question, Joyce. The answer is: it depends on the individual. Some people are more sensitive to sodium than others and may experience an increase in blood pressure when consuming higher amounts of salt. This is often referred to as "salt sensitivity" and can be influenced by factors such as metabolic health, genetics, and certain medical conditions. At the same time, many people do not experience a significant increase in blood pressure from higher sodium intake, and factors like diet, activity level, fasting, and low-carb eating patterns can affect electrolyte needs. Because blood pressure and electrolyte requirements are highly individual, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider if you have concerns about sodium intake or managing high blood pressure. They can help determine what's most appropriate for your specific situation.

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Gram. While it's always a good idea to check with their pediatrician, LMNT is generally safe for children ages 6–8. LMNT serving sizes are formulated with adults in mind. Many members of our team give their kids half a stick pack at a time or simply dilute it with more water. For a kid-friendly option, some of our favorite recipes include popsicles and slushies made with LMNT—and they tend to be a big hit with the little ones!

A: Hi there. LMNT is not available for purchase with flexible spending accounts (FSAs) or health savings accounts (HSAs).

A: Hey Ryn, we don’t disclose the precise amounts of each flavor compound, nor do we share the complete list of compounds in our natural flavors because our flavors are unique. We put a ton of time and effort into developing each one — and we view them as proprietary.
