Q: I assembled this, but the crank that adjusts the desk height bumps into the desktop when I try to turn it. Is the crank supposed to rotate 360 degrees, or how do I raise the height of this desk?

A: Hey Keara - Thank you for reaching out to us. The crank should be able to rotate 360 degrees and should not be hitting the desk. The crank should fold out to be able to use. If it is hitting the desk, ensure that it’s properly placed or move the mechanism forward slightly. Hope this helps! - Josh

Solid desk
This desk is nice. I wanted a mechanical standing desk since I feel like I'd have more of a chance of fixing it if something ever breaks. From what I recall, the directions were straight forward and all of the pieces and screws fit together perfectly; my dad helped me put this together and we didn't argue once, so there you go. The base is heavy and solid and the crank works well. I think I'd probably be able to change out the top for a different surface if this one ever gets shabby, but it's holding up very well so far!

Does the job
I purchased this over a year ago and some of the highlights are - easy to assemble (but yes, it was heavy in the box), I like that it's a manual crank to lower/raise so that I do not need to worry about electricial issues/failure over time, and it's a good size for a smaller space but not so small (not dorm sized furniture if you will). The negative is that it has absolutely started to sag in the middle over time from use. It's only noticable because my monitor stand needs to be propped up from wobbling. Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend! For the price, it's unbeatable for the ability to use it sitting or standing.

LOVE this desk!
This desk was an excellent deal! It has a really nice wood texture, and I love the crank instead of the electric adjustment. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble at all when lifted into standing mode. This desk has been awesome for productivity- highly recommend!

Tabletop is starting to fall apart after a few months
The edge is starting to come apart after a few months. Would not recommend. Get a desk that is 100% wood because in time laminate always comes apart, but I'm surprised with how quickly that's happening here.
