I really wanted to like this shampoo because it smells amazing, but I had lots of issues with it. First off, it’s very hard to lather and I ended up using a lot of shampoo for one wash. It also made my scalp super dry and itchy along with causing a lot of breakage. I really wish it worked better because it smells so good, but I will not be buying this again.

This is by far the worst shampoo I’ve used…maybe ever. Like crappy hotel shampoo level bad. First, you have to use a ton of it, even on chin length hair. Second, it doesn’t want to spread through hair, there’s no slip to it as it foams. It takes a lot of work to get it through to the scalp. Third, hair is a tangled mess when you rinse and hair doesn’t feel clean. I don’t usually have problems with shampoo because of our water so I really think it’s just this shampoo is no good.

This shampoo works pretty well for me, considering it’s price, it’s the best color-friendly shampoo I’ve tried. I usually don’t write reviews but saw mixed ones on this product and I had to leave my opinion. I have thin hair and this shampoo didn’t seem to have a problem cleaning my hair, although it doesn’t seem to lather as well as some other shampoos I used before I colored my hair. Sometimes I have to shampoo my hair twice, but this shampoo keeps my hair feeling clean, and I usually can go without washing my hair for a day or two, which I could NEVER do before since my hair is so thin. It smells fantastic and hasn’t faded my color, (blonde highlights in brown hair) as far as I’ve noticed. I haven’t noticed any breakage or hair loss like others have mentioned, but I also use other products in my hair after washing that help with breakage. Overall, I like this shampoo, and because of the price and quality, I would feel totally comfortable buying this as long as I have my hair colored!!

It made my thin hair greasier than normal! And dried out. Oh and if you have dry scalp or psoriasis etc be careful. It burns the really dry patches sometimes. Or if you’re a scalp picker!

I love the conditioner and the body lotion of this scent but the shampoo just doesn't clean well. I would wash my hair multiple times and it would still feel like there was product and oil and my hair would get oily very quickly.

I used this product for years because of its ingredient list. Something has changed. I started experiencing hair loss during my showers that seemed a little abnormal. It was coming out in small handfuls. I went to my doctor and had tests ran; my labs came back normal. I immediately then switched shampoos, per their recommendation,and the very next shower my hair loss diminished. It was no longer an issue when I made the switch. I went online to the LBP Facebook page and found hundreds of reviews where women are losing their hair from this product. Unfortunately, I will no longer be using. Something isn’t right.

I bought this shampoo after seeing it was good for color treated hair. After using it, I am finding I have to use a good amount in order to actually clean my below shoulder-length hair. It has faded my color and it is not moisturizing at all. I am disappointed as I loved that it was more natural and planet friendly and truly does smell amazing.

i see people say that this shampoo is good and all that on tiktok. although in my experience it makes my hair feel really dry and whenever i open the bottle the fragrance is really strong as if you were you using bbw body wash or something (which i highly don’t recommend cause it’s bad for you). i also broke out in hives after my shower after each use, which doesn’t happen with the shampoo i used to use, pantene
