Q: I just bought this toy and the texture of the rubber is strange to me. it almost feels like tiny pieces will start to rub off. is this normal? is the rubber supposed to be like this?

Picked this up as an impulse buy and ended up being my child’s favorite teether! I would say this is definitely a must-have item, especially if you have the play kits, (which my husband signed our baby up for at birth), and this is not an item that comes in the play kits. Our baby will grasp at this and play with this toy for hours. Often even spitting out a pacifier in favor of this toy. The material it’s made out of is absolutely perfect for when baby is teething. I would say $11 is an excellent price point for this as it appears to last a long time and that baby gets a lot of enjoyment out of. Especially since this is a unique item for the brand as it does not come in the play kits. I would 100% recommend, especially if your baby enjoys teethers, and has started grasping things.

I got this for my 9 month old for Christmas. Was excited because it was lovevery. To be honest he doesn’t play with it much. For the price I’m disappointed. I wouldn’t buy it again and it’s not a toy I would purchase for a friend in the future. We have so many other favorite balls and toys this one just doesn’t get played with.

My 7 month old teething twins adore this toy. It’s not advertised particularly as a teether, but they love chewing on it. It’s great quality and worth every penny.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. When I first saw it I thought it was a pretty unimpressive toy, but my 4.5 mo old has decided that of among all of his little toys that he loves to manipulate in his hands (and we lean into the natural materials, no plastics etc) that, this is decidedly amongst the favorites. He loves it for holding, rotating, studying, and of course chewing on. It is coated with a white talc-like powder which pilled up and needed to be wiped off when wet. But my small human is delighted with it. So I’m delighted with it.

My 6 month old puts everything in her mouth right now. Since she seems to be gripping toys and actually enjoying them now, we pulled this one out this morning. She absolutely loved it! The problem is that we discovered it stained her clothes green! I don't know what the toys dye has in it and it clearly comes off with saliva. All baby toys at this age are going in her mouth! I can't recommend this to anyone because I can't say that it's safe.
