A: I wish companies would just come out with additional products and leave the old ones alone. I do like this new version as I was sensitive to ingredients in the old, but that isn't the case for many people.

Not as good as the old formulation!
The new formulation is aweful, too thick and doesn't absorb like the original formulation. I have used Lubriderm for a very long time and it was tterrific, but I won't buy it again.

Reformulated version, meh.
Although I like Lubriderm, I prefer their previous formula without the Shea butter and glycerin.. This reformulated version is too thick and causes breakouts now. It does not soak in like the old version. I hope it can be brought back as an option for purchase. For now, I’m in search of another brand that did what the old version did.

Decades of Lubriderm
My step father was a pediatrician and brought Lubriderm samples home from his clinic. That was over 60 years ago and I've used Lubriderm daily ever since. My husband uses it, my son uses it and his kids use it. We are a Lubriderm family!

They've ruined what was an excellent moisturizer.
30+ year user of Lubriderm Daily lotion and they've ruined it with this new Pro-Ceramide formulation. It's now super thick and never fully absorbs, so your skin is tacky/sticky until you wash it off.

New Formula with pro-ceramide is garbage!!!! Way to sticky, clumpy and smells like chemical. Irritates skin, clogs pores and flakes with residue. Bring back the original formula!!!! Listen to your long time customers because you will lose them.

No to the new formula
Please bring back the old formula! I have used Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin for decades. On my face, on my body. It was one of the few products that didn't cause rashes and break outs. The new product with shea butter is a big No Go for my skin. I would hate to abandon your products after so many years, but I'm afraid I will have to. Why, why, why tinker with things that aren't broken??

This new formula is horrible!! This was my favorite lotion and the only one I have used for years. Whatever ingredients are in it now makes my skin feel sticky. I guess I will have to look for a new brand :(

Disappointed
I don't understand why they have changed the original unscented fragrance-free normal to dry skin formula?? They have added a highly allergenic ingredient, shea butter, and now those of us with sensitive skin are up a creek without a paddle, nervous to try new things and out of luck with a product that worked perfectly well. Extremely disappointing. Now forced to find a new brand. Very unhappy, previously loyal, customer.

Sad & Disappointed
I've been using Lubriderm since it was made available to public, like in the 70s. I love that it lubricates without being greasy. It is the only thing i put on my body after shower. I've been working in Hong Kong for over 25++ years. Each time I go home to Toronto, I stock up! I didn't even realize the formula was changed, until my body started breaking out in rashes. Little red dots covered my entire body. I didn't know what it was and the only thing that changed was the Lubriderm. I stopped using the new bottle and the red rashes disappeared. I am suddened that i can no longer use Lubriderm. I actually bought 6 bottles when i was last in Toronto. Is there anyway you can bring back the original formula?

I wanted to love it
I wanted to love it, but didn't! I've never had a lotion leave little gel like pilling all over where I used the lotion. Even on my hands. They even got on my car steering wheel. I will not be purchasing this product again!

Lubriderm "All skin types"
I HATE this new "all skin type" Lubriderm Lotion. It feels greasy and within 8 hours my skin was itchy and dry. I have now switched to Aveeno skin lotion. Not the same as your old formula but much better than this crappy new formula. I had been using Lubriderm Body Lotion, "normal to dry skin" for over 15 years. I LOVED this lotion. I am so disappointed to have to stop using your product. Please let me know if you have gone back to the old formula. Until then, I guess I have to continue using Aveeno. This change reminds me of the "New Coke Formula" - what a flop THAT was!

Was the best before they reformulated
The reformulation of this product is the absolute worst. It peels like crazy and feels waxy after it dries. I ONLY bought this lotion because it was so good but since the reformulation I am on the look for a different product.

The new formula for "All Skin Types" is awful
Bottom Line: The old formula was great. I used it for years, every day. When I applied the "All Skin Types" reformulation I knew immediately that something had changed for the worse. That's when I noticed all the changes of the ingredients. Please bring back the old product formulation or say goodbye to your customers because this new product will not keep your base happy, or attract new users in my opinion.

New Formula Sucks
When I bought a refill that was the new pro-ceramide lotion I noticed there was a change in the formula. It is now sticky, doesn’t absorb well, and becomes crumby which is just gross! Go back to the old formula!

Great Lotion!
Moisturizes well. My normal lotion is Alba Botanica. But it’s getting increasingly difficult to find in the store. Any store. So I’ve been buying different lotions to see which one I like best. This one is really great! It’s smooth and creamy. Hydrates my dry winter skin. Heals up my dry sometimes cracked winter hands. I can’t speak for the difference between the old formula and the new. The bottle I bought is the new formula. But I love it!

Nice and light
I have really sensitive skin but had gotten a new tattoo and needed something light to use. And now I use this all the time, everywhere! Usually I can’t use lotions on my face because of how sensitive it is. And now I love using this because it’s made my face/skin so soft. I’ve struggled with skin problems my whole life and used to deal with my face getting scaley feeling from dryness. Even had been on prescription lotions to help with the dryness but nothing helped. Since using this, my face feels so smooth and I don’t get dry patches or “scales” anymore. What’s even better is it’s not oily, or greasy feeling. If you’re like me, and can’t stand lotion textures, how they feel heavy, then this might work for you. Because in all honesty after putting this on, I can feel that it’s working but I don’t feel like I have anything on. If that makes sense? Lol

Ruined by reformulation
Was really sad to see that this had been reformulated when I recently repurchased. It was the perfect every day body lotion for my sensitive break out prone skin, plus being great for tattoo aftercare. The old formula absorbed well into my skin, while the new one just sits on top of my skin. Instead of reformulating a great lotion and adding shea butter and oat oil like every other greasy feeling lotion, why not just create a completely separate product line with those ingredients? Just super disappointing.
