Lucinda Fabric Storage Ottoman Bench - Christopher Knight Home

I love this bench. It fits nicely under my bay window. The color is great, the quality is great. I put blankets in the storage part. It adds the perfect cozy touch to my living room.

I've had this for 2 years now and although the bench is a great minimalistic, classic neutral look, I noticed the lid quality is cheaply made. It feels like there are really thin wood panels that will crack if you dont sit on it evenly. I have this sitting at the foot of my bed and sometimes I will stand on it with my knees to grab something and found myself making little cracking sounds to the lid like it was going to break. That was because I would stand on the fabric between these wood panels. The padding also started to wrinkle over time from sitting or setting things on it. I truly think it should be used as a storage unit more than a bench. But that was just my experience from owning this for the last two years. I normally dont write reviews after owning an item for so long but I thought this would be helpful

The quality is definitely not great - probably not a long lasting piece but it does the job.

The color is very tan, not light. The fabric was wrinkles or maybe the sewing was off. More importantly the lid kept popping up. The price was great but not high quality. I returned it.

It's made of very cheap material. The legs were ridiculously difficult to get on. It is basically children's craft felt and slightly more sturdy than cardboard.

Ottoman is nice looking, but the bottom part in which the legs should be screwed, is cheap and easily falls apart. The anchor for one of the legs came out and so now the ottoman is just sitting on a leg that’s not screwed in

I love this ottoman! My bed frame height is 18” so I wanted to get something for extra under bed storage that looked better than your typical rubbermaid storage. This ottoman’s look and overall measurements were exactly what I wanted, it fits in well with my simple decor. I decided to swap out the legs for threaded stem casters so it can be moved with ease. With the casters it just clears the height clearance at ~15.5 inches. The width of the ottoman is great too, since it almost runs the full length of my queen mattress! I use it to store my vacuum bags of compressed blankets and pillows.

Great ottoman. Fabric on lid is slightly loose but not very noticeable

Nice overall. Craftsmanship is poor so the two hinges come loose very easily. Because of the size of the lid and types of hinges, this needs to be spaced away from the bed at least 2" to not contact when opening and damage the hinges.

Love this storage bench. Was looking for a storage bench to put in a small master bedroom at the foot of the bed. I didn't want anything too large. It is the perfect size. Only assembly is screwing the four legs on. I bought the "Sand" color and it is like a linen fabric. I wanted linen and not the faux leather. I'm not sure if the other colors are linen or not. The "Sand" color is a very very light beige, very neutral. I thought the color would be darker, like a wet sand, but it is indeed a nice light sand color.
