Q: Can this clock be hung on the wall or just displayed on a shelf? Is it attractive enough to display or does it just look like a cookie tin with a clock on it?

A: Yes. Drill a hole through the base of the container. The clock is the lid and won't get damaged. Or wind a string around the lid only and hang with or w/o the base. I prefer it on the shelf though

Iconic Big Ben Tin & To Die For Orange Jaffa Cake
Another favorite from M&S Holiday 2024 Collection. I love the iconic Big Ben cake tin that also doubles up as a beautiful working wall clock. All the intricate details around the tin lid and base are very well thought out and designed. Each window reveals different characters: the royal guards, doves, magpies, tourists, cats, uniform police, etc. This gives me a fond memory of the Big Ben. Dark chocolate orange Jaffa cake is a winner, absolutely to die for, a perfect bite size cake to go with an espresso shot or as a complement of red wine like Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. I put the cake in the fridge to firm it up a bit, and to help dark chocolate stay coated in a 80F weather. It’s nice to have 3 separate trays that I don’t have to open up the whole thing all at once. Highly recommended!!

The Jaffa cakes are rectangular and small, very delicious! The clock is an actual clock with a battery in the back and it’s an awesome tin! The clock doesn’t work amazingly well but the concept is pretty awesome.

I put this out for Christmas guests and, oh my, these are totatlly delicious! Light and chewy. Not too much chocolate and complimented beautifully with sharp orange flavor in each bit. Totally love it!! Guests went through two whole sleeve at one sitting! Then, you're left with the cutest tin box to store things in. Great treat. Great gift.

Wow. These orange Jaffa thingies are amazing. What a flavor explosion and the texture wow. Loves it... And they pair perfectly with tea. Hmmm I'm gonna need more of this. And the clock? Yaaaas it's set up and ticking happily and looks great. The pictures don't do it justice. It comes with a battery. Just pull the tag and insert the battery the right direction and you'll be in business. This is an old fashioned style so the hands are exposed, that's normal. This can be used year round because there aren't any holiday images on it. Loves it...

Love the jaffa cakes
The jaffa cakes (rhymes with laugh-uh) are the real hit here. The clock can't be hung on the wall and when it comes time to put it away for the rest of the year all you have to protect the delicate hour/minute hands is a flimsy piece of plastic. It's pretty and again the jaffa cakes are amazing but I'm not sure if I want to keep it after this season. A bit of a faff to keep it safe. If the jaffa cakes came in any other tin, I wouldn't recommend this. As it is, get one because they're just that good.

I'm British, so when I saw this Big Ben Christmas cookie tin, I had to have it. The design is great, and the fact that it has a working clock is a wonderful feature. Holiday Cookie Clock Tin
Prettier in person. Pretty blue working clock tin full of thin orange flavor chocolate dipped cakes. The cakes are good but you definitely have to be ok with that flavor combo to like them and they are soft not crunchy like a cookie. There are 3 individual wrapped sleeves of them. The battery is included for the clock. The ticking doesn’t seem overly loud compared to some battery clocks. There is a plastic tab to remove from the end of the battery to start using. Just be careful when changing the battery; the tin is thin and I could see it would be easy to bend or dent if you weren’t careful when the lid is off. It is definitely worth the price for a gift or to keep for yourself to enjoy the cakes and use the cute clock and inside storage throughout the year. Definitely recommend!
