Description
Serving up an entree with a salad or a side dish for burgers is easy when you have a Mac & Cheese Dinner from market pantry™ in your pantry. This macaroni and cheese features macaroni pasta and a creamy cheese sauce for a classic yet delectable dish you'll love. Enjoy it as is, or customize a variety of ways — mix in taco seasoning and ground beef and top with salsa, or add shrimp, garlic and a spritz of lemon.
Directions
What You'll Need
6 cups water
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
3 Tbsp. 2% milk
Stovetop
1. Bring 6 cups water to a boil. Stir in macaroni.
2. Boil 7 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.
3. Drain. Do not rinse. Return to pan.
4. Add 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, 3 Tbsp. 2% milk and cheese sauce mix; mix well.
Appliances may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.
To prepare with less fat: Prepare as directed using 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter and 3 Tbsp. fat free milk.

Hardest of Passes
Writing this as much for myself as for others (in case I forget) but this is awful and should be skipped. Many store brand boxed mac and cheese is good - some are even better than name brand - but this is the exception. The taste is weird. It’s not cheesy. Both boxes I’ve purchased have been tossed after a few bites. Save yourself the hassle and if you can, splurge on literally any other box.

This is better than any other name-brand or off- brand we’ve tried. My picky son loves it and I hope all the negative reviews don’t encourage them to change the formula, because finding “safe” foods for him is a challenge. It’s super flavorful and cooks quicker than others, the powder blends easily so there are no clumps, and the deeper orange-red color is inconsequential. Also the price is amazing.

It's freaking red. Why?
It's red. I'd rather it not have any added color in it at all if we're doing this sh. They used annatto for color and it's alarming to see pink powder and red pasta when the box literally shows the classic yellow. Turmeric is what Kraft uses. What's the deal.
