DIRECTIONS Please shake well. Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am-2 pm, wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. This mineral sunscreen is the one and only I have ever used that doesn't pill when applied over other products, and it glides on smoothly without a white cast! Also doesn't dry out my skin like I've found other mineral sunscreens have. Please please do not ever discontinue this product!

The best facial sunscreen!
I absolutely love this sunscreen! I've been using it for years now and I've got my entire family hooked on it too now! Every other facial sunscreen I've ever used ends up stinging my eyes throughout the day even though I completely avoid my eye area. My skin gets oily throughout the day and I work in fairly hot conditions so I tend to sweat a lot on my face and this sunscreen has never once stung my eyes or given me any other issues. Even my dad uses it and he's a mailman that's constantly exposed to intense heat where we live and he has no complaints with it either! It sits well on top of my moisturizer and under my makeup and never pills off. And it makes my skin look healthy, hydrated, and glowy. I cannot recommend it enough!

The Very Best
In decades of searching for a facial sunscreen that's lightweight and non-greasy, I have never found one as good as Mad Hippie Hydrating Facial SPF. Other brands promise but fail to deliver. I actually needed to wear powder foundation on my face just to keep my sunscreen in place! Not anymore. I am free from all that. All I have to do is wash my face, dab on a little aloe vera, and spread this deliciously textured mousse onto my face, and I am ready to take on the sunniest day with confidence. It soaks right in and becomes an invisible shield. Shazam!

Ugh, finding daily sunscreen that won't kill you while preventing the sun from killing you, while not wanting to look like a vampire, and still wanting to wear maybe cheek color and not have it slide around, but also not spend half your paycheck. THIS IS THE SOLUTION. I am pretty white guys, like somewhere between a 1 and 2 on the skin scale. But I live on a mountain in SoCal at 7k altitude and desert conditions. So I've got crazy sunshine pounding on me and 12% humidity. I am genuinely protected by this sunscreen! It's not too heavy. I am a fairly oily person and at first I thought this would be too much but no! It's perfect. It has a thin cream texture. As I apply it looks a little white but very quickly disappears into my skin leaving ZERO white cast. Again, I'm v pale.

This is the closest sunscreen of theirs that I have found to their previous "advanced skin Care facial SPF 30". I really loved that product. The benefit to this newer version is it is water resistant, which is great, as I use this outside while working and sweating and it feels like it lasts longer. It's a bit heavy, but still light enough to not clog my pores and cause too many problems.

Simply amazing!!
I was hesitant using this at first, because most products marketed as sheer are anything but, but this stuff really is! I love the ingredient list and how hydrating it is! It's not too hydrating but for me it's just right. I have normal/dry/sensitive skin for reference. I love this company and everything they stand for, and I'm also so happy my fussy skin loves this. Oh, and the fact that it's fragrance free/reef safe is a huge plus!

Being someone who tries to live a healthy lifestyle, using a zinc sunscreen rather than a chemical sunscreen is an absolute. This product has antioxidants and feels very hydrating on my skin. It also went on very clear, so I am sold!

Works well and feels nice, smells strongly of carrot
This sunscreen has a nice light consistency, feels hydrating, and it doesn't appear to leave a white tint in my face but it does on my arms. Because it's a fairly low SPF you should definitely reapply as directed (approx every hour). It does have a strong carrot smell which my coworkers are not a fan of, but I don't mind. I prefer the sun serum for my face due to its thinner consistency and new tinted options, but this one is a solid choice!

Clear protection
My dermatologist recommended only using zinc oxide sunscreens. I've found Mad Hippies to be the best around. This product blends smoothly into my skin and leaves it feeling hydrating. I love it as well as their serum spfs

Great product but white cast is a lil cray
loooove this product and this brand so much!! all of the ingredients are safe which is amazing. The only thing about this product is that it leaves a pretty heavy white cast if you don't rub it in really good so what worked for me is that you should rub it in your hands for a bit first and THEN apply, rather than putting small globs on your face first and then rubbing in. Other than that it protects my skin and does the job

Feels great and is clear
This is a great natural sunscreen. I like that it is reef safe and doesn't have chemical blockers, only zinc oxide. I find it to be very light on my skin and to be very waterproof so great for a jog or the pool.

This product is amazing for a zinc sunscreen. It goes on super clear and leaves my skin protected all day. I just spent the day on the lake and my face didn't burn at all! I also feel good knowing that its clean for my body and the lake!

For a zinc oxide product without any chemical blockers, this product wows me! I won't use oxybenzone or other chemical blockers on my skin as they are horrible for you. I was thrilled to find this great natural SPF!

This new formula is Zinc perfection! ( the old was good, but took awhile to smooth out the white of the zinc). This one is so smooth and silky, I was skeptical at first as far as sun protection. But, it is wonderful enough to use as both my face cream and sunscreen. I am 55 yrs old so I do want wrinkle and spot correction, but so far so good! Thanks MadHippie!
