Sheer Tint Sun Serum SPF-Medium/Dark by Mad Hippie - 1.02 oz Liquid

Like 1985 foundation only orangier. Not sure who this would be invisible on. Heavy as sunscreen goes. One star for going on without the greasy shine. Didnt exactly emphasize pores and wrinkles, but definitely showed each and every one. A light splash of water takes ot right off, it definitely wouldn't stay put on a hot day. It's a pass for me, will be returning.

I've used so many brands over the past 10 yrs all natural and mad hippie did it again! Love alot of the stuff they make but this is the best. I look glowy and so good I can skip a few steps in the am and just use this or add oil for more hydration. It's so good. PLEASE MAKE IT 50 spf so I can feel a bit better about it

The Daily Protective Serum has my respect in a breakthrough facial moisturizing sunscreen. Born & raised in the tropics now living in the Arizona desert, this product is the best of any sunscreen I've used over my lifetime. It is lightweight, greaseless, non-whitening, and leaves soft moisturized skin ready for me to apply my daily face to greet the world. I do use the Vitamin C Serum first, on clean skin, then a light moisturizer, and finally this serum. I do have to layer products due to mature, dry skin. One of my greatest joys is being able to use this product on my throat and collarbone as well, without ring around the collar stains on my clothing. I've been a Mad Hippie fan of the Vitamin C serum for years, and I'm pleased to add this sunscreen serum to my daily skin care routine. PS, the overnight vitamin C cream is also bomb! Thanks MH for your care and dedication to beautiful skin, without harmful chemicals, and products that actually do their advertised job!

Really is just an awesome product. I love that it goes on so easy yet it does a great job of protecting my skin. I wore it to the beach yesterday and it did a great job! I used to use this super whitening zinc product so it was great to have a product that didn't leave me all white but is still safe for me and the ocean. 10/10

Sunscreen is THE most difficult skincare/cosmetic product to buy. It's a trial and error process, & can get expensive. I've tried just about every sunscreen out there, from high-end brands to drugstore buys & everything in between. Chemical sunscreen wears well, but has safety & environmental concerns. Zinc oxide is clean, but can be drying in high concentrations & leave a white cast. I love that this product contains a moderate but effective 12.7%. It's a solid SPF 30 & water-resistant. I also like that it includes skin-loving ingredients & is gentle. But the best part is the performance. 1. The formula is quite thin, which is really important for facial sunscreen. So it's very lightweight on the skin. 2. Zero white cast (light skintone). 3. No irritation, itchiness, or dryness (even around the eyes). 4. Not greasy, shiny, sticky, or uncomfortable. 5. No silicone, so it doesn't pill or stick to dry patches (an issue for me). 6. Wears beautifully under makeup (a must!). 7. It does its job & protects my skin from damaging rays. MH told me that 3 pumps is usually adequate for the face (I need 4) & 2 more for the neck. One con: this serum is pretty pricey at just 1oz. For the typical 3oz volume, you're looking at around $68. But I can't lie... it's worth every penny. Please, PLEASE never discontinue this sunscreen! I'd be lost. I love the tinted version too, but it's not water-resistant. Maybe MH can give that some consideration. Thank you for this brilliant product!

I feel like I have been searching for this product my entire life! Light weight, non greasy, non sticky, the lightest white cast that seems to absorb away pretty quickly. Feels like nothing but good stuff on my face. Plus it has vitamins! My skin tends to be oily and congestion/break out prone so most sunscreen usually makes these issues worse. This serum does the opposite! Plus sunscreen! Amazing! I almost want to keep it a secret

Doesn't clog pores and leaves a beautiful clear soft satin finish, no chalkiness or oiliness. Runny out of the bottle but that means it spreads easily and thinly which I prefer. Right amount of hydration alone or over a serum. My face is still fresh and hydrated by the end of the day, and isn't an oil slick!

I love this sunscreen. I dont find it oily nor clogging to pores I have combination skin. I use it in combination with the vitamin c. I do notice a slight white cast I have olive skin. I also find it flakes alit.

I have been buying mad hippie products for years now! Recently I had an issue with my daily protective serum and reached out. They were beyond helpful and it made me love them even more! This is my favorite product they have just above the vitamin c serum. It's so light weight and works so well!!

I can't express just how much I love this SPF serum! I have highly sensitive skin and I'm allergic to many of the most common ingredients used in both mineral and chemical sunscreens. I had to ditch so many products due to rashes and other reactions before finally finding this product and I really hope it never gets discontinued! The consistency is perfect, it goes on easily and doesn't leave too much of a cast (a little bit, but that's okay for me---not sure how well it would work on darker skin). It doesn't pill when applied over other products, and I notice that my skin looks and feels better when I wear it, beyond just feeling protected from the sun. I can easily wear it everyday without breaking out, which is such a plus for a sunscreen. The one downside, as others have noted, is the pump. Once you get down to the last 1/3 or so of the bottle, you have to be careful as you pump it into your hand as it will spray every which way. Other than that, 10/10.

I love this product so much!! I feel like it gives enough spf that I don't get burned ever and it is so amazing how easily it blends into my skin! Blends into skin seamlessly and is so hydrarting and silky smooth!!! Fav sunscreem ever and 1000% recommend!!!!

I just came back to this website to buy more of this stuff because I've used it all up and loved it. It smells amazing, blends into skin beautifully without white cast or greasiness, and it doesn't cause me to break out‚ and for me that‚ really saying something because EVERYTHING makes me break out. You have to really shake it a lot because it tends to separate, and it includes a little rattly ball to help you shake it up. I discovered the separation when I was getting close to empty and unscrewed the pump to get the last drops out and found some thick zinc oxide in the top. I just scraped it out, put it on and it worked like a dream. I switch up my foundation type depending on my mood and this always looks beautiful underneath whatever I'm wearing. Thought I'd look around for a cheaper dupe and I'm not convinced one exists, especially with non nano particles. Thank you Mad Hippie!

I'm 49 and wear face sunscreen religiously so I have a lot of experience with face screens. I also prefer physical sunscreen versus chemical. I was pretty satisfied with my daily sunscreen moisturizer (Cetaphil SPF 50) but when I wore makeup always felt my make up got oily or heavy especially in the summer. So I was always looking for something lighter. I had tried everything mattifying sunscreens, sheer screens (e.g. Supergoop SheerScreen), you name it. Today I tried this for the first time and WOW. Like, WOW. It goes on really well, sinks right in, my make up "sticks" right to it, and I've had my make up on for hours and there's no oiliness, no makeup sliding, no heaviness at all. And my skin feels hydrated, not dried out and smoothed over, like poreless. I'm a devotee.

I had been looking for a sunscreen that was mineral ‚ reef safe ‚ moisturizing ‚ feels light ‚ and doesn't leave a cast ‚ This product checks all those boxes. Feels velvety on the skin, and added bonus of vitamin C for fighting discoloration and wrinkles over time. And I like that it's in a glass bottle and you can send in the plastic pump for recycling. It's a win-win-win for me.

PLEASE NEVER CHANGE THIS FORMULA. IT'S SIMPLY THE BEST. DOESN'T LEAVE A WHITE CAST AND FEELS HYDRATING AND LIGHTWEIGHT. I LOOK FORWARD TO APPLYING THIS DAILY AFTER MY SKIN CARE REGIMEN!!! I have never been a big fan of sunscreen, but after a family member had numerous instances of skin cancer, I decided I needed to get more serious about protecting my skin. I had tried another zinc sunscreen that was very chalky and streaky, so I was pleasantly surprised that this sunscreen is truly invisible and doesn't have a heavy feeling. It didn't cause my skin to break out or become irritated, AND it prevented sunburn. This will be my "go to" from now on!

I've been looking for a mineral facial sunscreen for months and am so glad I finally found this one! Main reason I gave it four stars is because the serum texture could be a bit more smooth and hydrating. Does not leave a white caste. I also love that it is completely recycleable (pump through the Mad Hippies Tetracycle program!).
