I'm in my thirties with very dry skin, have had acne since my early teens. I tried the AHA glycolic acid serum first, which made my skin pretty soft but didn't resolve my acne. I saw an immediate difference when I switched to the Super A serum. I started with every other night and now apply every night along with a salicylic acid gel. My acne has decreased significantly and my skin tone is more even and bright. Over the years I've tried Proactiv, Curology, and various natural remedies for acne but this is the one that's working for me now as my skin ages.

I picked this serum up at Ulta because I have some acne scars on my chin. I have been using this serum every night, and my skin already looks healthier. It appears more radiant and smooth. Mind you, it's only been a week so imagine what my skin will look like after a months use.

I have no complaints about this serum. I didn't purge like I would with most retinoids, I've been using for 3 months and l notice a difference in my skins texture. My only feedback would be that I have to rebuy almost once a month and I wish you would come out with a jumbo size

This retinol saved me from having to go to the dermatologist. I hade two rather large/angry milia on my chin , I used this for a few weeks and finally all the gunk came out . All my acne prone and plugged skin is so much clearer and smoother , and I'm not fighting with milia any longer . I had used the ordinary retinol in the past and it did nothing . This retinol is gentle and effective !

Whenever my skin starts to feel bumpy/uneven or starts breaking out I use this and it clears everything right up!

I have sensitive, reactive and silly skin ! I have tried prescription retinoids before and my skin did not like them at all. I have had zero negative reaction only positive . I have been using this 2 months straight every night followed by peptide serum and it's a game changer . It's helped with texture, hydration, and dark spots. My skin looks noticeably younger but I've dealt less with the typical skin purging that come along with traditional retinoids. The only improvements that I recommend is to sell a larger bottle. I know that it's recommended to just use a few drops but I find that my skin really drinks it in and I end up using a dropper full each night, I really wish that I had a bigger bottle

Mad hippie products have not only turned around my skin from being red, irritated and acne prone to clear and calm, they've for real changed how I feel about myself. I no longer wear foundations, powders, cc's or anything else. I alternate serums and moisturizers, top it off with mad hippie SPF. My skin looks matte, clear and beautiful and I'm good to go.

For reference I am a 54 ears old and had laser resurfacing in April. I was looking for something to enhance the results I got with that procedure. I was nervous about trying this retinol as I have been sensitive in the past to other brands which have left me red, itchy, and swollen. I have been using this nightly for about two weeks with a moisturizer. My skin is already visibly brighter, smoother, and my under eye puffiness is much less!! I am tolerating this without the side effects, making me think that this brand is cleaner and free of chemicals and was not the retinol? I am amazed.

I have to leave a review for the old Vitamin A serum because that was amazing and I can't wait to try the Super A when I run out of my bottle of the old Vitamin A. It's has done wonders on my skin my 14 year old son has been battling acne on his forehead and side of his face and I'm talking covered in acne it was so terrible I was getting ready to take him to a dermatologist. I started using the Vitamin A serum at night on him and the Vitamin C serum in the morning on him last week and more than half of his acne has cleared up and I can see healed gorgeous skin! I was amazed at what it has done for my skin being in my 40's but I am absolutely blown away watching what it is doing for my son's face. Please never stop making your products they are truly amazing and I recommend them to everyone willing to listen. I am so passionate about Mad Hippie!!

After trying the vitamin A for 6 months, my wrinkles are fading , worth the money. I will keep using this. Recommended.

This is my favorite product in the Mad Hippie line. It smells amazing, has wonderful consistency, absorbs easily, and makes my skin look and feel amazing. If I had to choose just one product from the line to use, this would be it.

This product was recommended to me by a family member. I was suffering from breakouts and small pimples/bumps all over face. I have been using this at night in combination with the Vitamin C serum for less than a week and notice a dramatic difference. My skin looks smoother, clearer, and brighter. The Vitamin A helped push out old blackheads and congested pores. Absolutely love this product!

With in the first 2 weeks of use I felt like I was seeing positive results with nightly use. Then I started to get the retinizing rash around my lower eyelid and upper cheeks, that is somewhat expected with a retinoid product (especially an active one such as this) but can be avoided if used wisely. I took a break from this for about a week to let it heal. Going back in I'm going to titrate more gradually, so skip 2 nights between applications for 2 weeks, then every other night for another 2 weeks, then hopefully but then I could resume nightly use. I knocked of 1 star because of the orange oil. Sweet orange is not as irritating as most other citrus, it's probably the most mild of the citrus oils, but still generally it can be irritating. Retinoids are already inherently irritating for a newbie so it makes no sense to add this additional potential irritant. I don't think it adds anything to the formulation. It would still be a very elegant product, perhaps even more so without any fragrance. I would repurchase this but I'm also on the look out for similar products that are fragrance-free.

I received a sample of this product a year ago and I can honestly say I cannot live without it now. This product is PHENOMENAL! I tend to break out often and get a lot of blemishes that leave dark spots on my face. The minute I put this on my face, within 2 days my face clears up. I have combination skin and I use it in combination with my regular moisturizer. It's by far one of the top 3 products I have ever used. It leaves my skin smooth, clear, looking healthy and bright. I never write reviews but definitely felt this product deserved one. Don't think about it and just try it. You won't regret it.

Holy Grail!! I have been using a high end retinol for the last year!! Very minimal results. I introduced this Vitamin A serum into my routine about 3 weeks ago. I noticed lately that I was going out with no makeup, more often. And that my skin was very plump and brightened. I knew immediately that it was the Vitamin A!! This stuff works!!! Don't hesitate BUY it!!! Loving the results!!

I was given a sample with my Vitamin C serum and this is quality stuff. It goes on clean, my skin appears more even just a few days later. It has a scent but it's not perfume. More like apple. It can be like a retinol substitute serum, I will purchase.

I am over 40 and have non cancerous sun damage that is rough to the touch. Dermatologists freeze it off but it never fully smooths and always comes right back. I've been using this Vitamin A serum for about a month now, and have been loving the results. The sun damage on my face is smoothing out, and my complexion is becoming more balanced. Bothersome fine lines around my mouth and chin are smoothing out. Follow the directions - it does take the skin some getting used to at first. I have sensitive skin.

This serum 10000% does what it is intended to and has made my skin so healthy and it has started to glow instead of its typical dry appearance. 100% worth the money
