Q: How do you sterilize the bottles? Does it have to be boiling water on the stove or can they go through a sterilizer/dryer
A: Hi, • Before each subsequent use, disassemble and clean the product carefully in warm soapy water. Rinse well with clean water before sterilizing, in order to ensure hygiene. Avoid harmful ingredients in the soap such as alcohol, chlorine, and/or other harmful materials. Do not leave items standing in the cleaning detergent like soapy water longer than recommended – this could negatively affect the product function• To ensure proper cleaning/sterilizing all bottle parts MUST be disassembled. • Clean all bottle parts before sterilizing. • After cleaning, sterilize using one of the following methods: steam sterilizing (electric or microwave according to manufacturer’s instructions), boiling in water for at least 5 minutes or immersing in a liquid sterilizing solution. Be sure to keep the bottle parts to the center of the water while boiling. • Do not leave any item (including the nipple) standing in sterilizing solutions longer than recommended, or leave in direct sunlight or heat this could negatively affect the product function and may weaken the nipple. • NEVER assemble bottle parts when sterilizing. This can damage the bottle and distort the threads where the bottle screws together. Thank you for your question!
