Q: How do you put hand soap into the dispenser?

  • A: I am able to answer my own question. The dispenser is so well made that the top appeared to be attached when all is needed is to twist the bottom ring at the top of the dispenser to the right and remove the top.

  • A: Yes. Mine is like “brushed nickel” finish. It is plastic. But has held up very well for about a year now, no wearing off, no breaking (which most plastic pumps tend to do by now).

    Beautiful, but leaks

    I really wanted to love this dispenser because it looks beautiful on my kitchen sink and matches my decor perfectly. Unfortunately, it leaks dish soap from the bottom, so I end up with soap pooling underneath it. It’s disappointing because the design is exactly what I was looking for, but the leaking makes it impractical to use. I would only recommend it if Target fixes this issue.

    Great look at excellent prices

    I would have given this a five star but the delivery was sloppy. I ordered three and picked them up. These are marble and they were all left unwrapped against one another that can allow for chips. I returned one at the counter as it had a three inch scratch down the side. Some might not care about the imperfection but didn’t want it. Nothing can replace picking out items oneself…and packing items carefully. This has been a pervasive problem with indiscriminate selections and careless packing when breakable items are shipped…so don’t elect for shipping fragile items anymore.

    No clog nozzle - yay!

    I chose this soap dispenser just because it had a larger nozzle. Most soap dispensers have very narrow nozzles which always get clogged and then soap sprays everywhere - except in your hands. This dispenser has a nice weight to it and it even has little rubber pads on the bottom so it won’t scratch your countertop. I would expect other stores would charge double this price. $15 is a deal. It is a nice quality product.

    Soap and pump turn green

    I have no problem with the pump. However, as soon as soap was put in it, the ring around the base of the metal (where it meets the marble) turned green and the soap has green streaks in it when it comes out. Something in the metal oxidizes with soap. It is hard to believe you are getting clean when the some comes out "dirty."

    Hand pump tarnishes

    Saw this in store and really liked it. Wish I would have read the other reviews. Like every one else is commenting, the pump tarnishes very quickly. Would not recommend. The base is great quality, heavy, and looks very nice. Just need to improve the pump.
