A: Hello, thank you for your question. Marshall uses the SPL rating to compare the power of speakers as the wattage isn't a very precise measure. The SPL measures how loud a speaker is when standing a specific distance from the speaker. The SPL rating of the Emberton II is 87 dB SPL @ 1 m. As it was a Marshall, I expected a full Rich sound but I was very disappointed. I have been using the speaker for a week. I’m still find it is not what I expected. But it is my fault. I should’ve read the reviews, but oh well you live and learn kind regards.

I converted my EMBERTON into EMBERTON II. It was the great choice. I got two “II” and tried “stuck mode”. It was my purpose to get “II” because No stuck mode in “III”. In my opinion, I didn’t feel any time difference at all. I don’t know the people who has great hearing. Maximum play time is 1. 5 than EMBERTON and cream color is cute!

The soundstage from this tiny unit is astonishing. I’d not have believed how much air it can really move with clarity and produce an all around experience. The bass is just about the right amount and the push function does bump it a bit high. Just a great speaker which is both powerful and also quite portable.
