  • A: Unfortunately, the ethernet port supports 10/100Mbps only. This may be acceptable for streaming but some 4k videos do require alot of bandthwidth, especially if you're streaming specific file formats.

The TVs would just need to be plugged into the outlet and connected to WiFi whereas the device would be connected to the HDMI port and USB port on the back of the TV.     Great Upgrade

    I had one of the original Roku systems but after reviewing the specs on the upgraded model, I decided to give it a shot. Man, this thing rocks. The picture and streaming with this unit it fabulous. And the sound is better. And to top it all off, the remote keypad light up! I'm very happy with this purchase.

    Best 4K picture yet!

    Great upgrade from 4K Stick

    I was already using the 4K Stick I had bought 3 years ago. I asked a friend for the new backlighted remote for Xmas, and he ended up getting me the Ultra! It was pretty easy to switch over, and now I have 2 remotes to use with it. The only difference I have noticed is that the audio levels are a few dB lower on the Ultra, so I have to set the receiver volume higher than before. It also seems to run a bit faster, and some apps even don't need to reload if you return to the Home screen and re-launch the app.

    It adds channels that you don't want, and several channels (Netflix for one) crashes all the time. Roku's support is useless

    I think ROKU is the best thing ever. With the rising cost of cable base rate plus extra charges for additional channels you want to get, the cost is beyond crazy. ROKU offers so many channels that I have no problem finding something I like to watch.

    New Roku

    I am very pleased with the new ROKU. I upgraded from a older USB to this one and works better than I thought it would. All my APS on the old one were on the new one. New 75" Samsung TV and it turns it on and to ROKU directory with just a button. Doesn't get hot like the older one and works as good or better. I suggest ROKU to others as one of the best investments I've done. Hat's off to you ROKU

    Received as a gift. A real upgrade from the Samsung remote which came with our smart TV. Also an improvement over our three older Rokus which require AA and AAA batteries; this is a USB charge.
