I was really hoping to love this as it is hard to find stuff for wavy hair. Unfortunately, it smelled like an older ladies perfume and the smell just clung around for hours.

This shampoo dried my hair out horribly and made it look incredibly frizzy.

I got this thinking it was the one for curls, but it's the one for waves. This shampoo is moisturizing and once rinsed out, I'm able to easily part my hair and apply the conditioner from this line, which i absolutely love as well. Usually with a lot of shampoos you have to somewhat pry the hair apart to section and apply conditioner or mask, not rhis shampoo. I immediately fell in love because of that reason. I have 4a hair by the way.

i've used other products from this brand and I love all of matrix products and this one smells AMAZING. Also suds up really good and it didn't dry out my scalp. Worth your money. Also really moisturizing.

My son has 3C type curls and this shampoo along with oil keeps it healthy and moisturized! The smell is nice and not over powering. My son does have eczema and this doesnt break him out. I definitely recommend it!

This shampoo stinks like chemicals from hair dye and made my hair very frizzy. I could feel how drying it was when I washed it out in the shower. I gave this a good try before returning but it was not a win for me!

I tried this product because it looked good for my curls, but after only two washes it took my hair from 3c/4a to about a 2b. This product's 8th ingredient is sodium hydroxide which is a main ingredient in relaxers. Be carful and always read ingredients before buying products.

I have been eyeing this product for a while and I finally bought it. The shampoo smells so good. After one wash my hair was squeaky clean and soft. I am definitely dumping the other shampoo I bought.

I love this product so much! After being unsure what my hair type was for the longest time I was told to give this product a try. Once I started using it I could instantly see a difference in my hair. It has become so much healthier after years of bleaching and made not only myself but others around me notice the change in my hair. I have limited frizz, great waves, volume, and softness. One thing I would like to change is the color of the packaging. I feel yellow does not give this product justice. I also think that if you guys make the packaging on the bottles glittery it would be so much fun and grab more customer attention. Overall I believe this product is a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone that has a wavy hair type!

I have had such a hard time finding shampoo and conditioner that can calm my frizz, but also keep my scalp from being itchy. I have the vest of bith worlds from this product. It also gives my waves perfect definition! I will buy this over and over again.

I had to go back to a SLS shampoo because the others didn't clean my scalp right and I was itching my scalp for years. I have always relied on MATRIX hair products they've been in the hair business for over 50 years. A little goes a long way and it "is" drying, so you must use a conditioner afterwards with this shampoo but my scalp is no longer itchy and my hair looks amazing after using the conditioner and a leave-in. I wouldn't recommend using this shampoo every day due to the dryness it leaves your hair shaft, which causes fall out and breakage; but that is the problem with all shampoos without using a conditioning afterwards.

I just started using this for my daughters waves/curls and it makes her hair so soft! It doesn't give her curls as much definition as her other products but it definitely has a nice smell.

Ok this blew me away completely…I have tried dozens of shampoos and conditioners for my natural blond curls and at 61 years old it isn't easy to surprise me with hair products but this one did. The very first time I shampooed and then used the matching conditioner, I got out of the shower let my hair air dry without using anything afterwards so I could see just how good "A Curl Can Dream Weighless Moisture" really is…and I have never in my life felt my hair scalp and curls feel healthier shiner bouncier softer. I used to have beautiful corkscrews until I tried to chemically straighten my hair at around 13. Since then, my curls has been lackluster but this shampoo and conditioner duo brought some life back to those curls!

I was amazed the very first time I used it. The more I use it the better my hair feels and my naturally curly hair has never been so curly and bouncy. My granddaughter used about half of a can of that Halloween colored hairspray in my hair the other day and I thought it was going to take three to four washings to get that stuff out. I'm not even kidding when I say I washed my hair once and used the conditioner once. If I had used any of the other shampoos I use on a regular basis there is no way I would have only had to wash my hair one time. It would have taken several washings to get that stuff out. I absolutely love this shampoo and am super excited that I was given the opportunity to try it out for free. Thank you Matrix and thank you BzzAgent for the opportunity. This girl is definitely a customer for life.

What drew me to this shampoo besides the wonderfully cheery yellow packaging, was the ingredient list. I was so happy to find a curly shampoo which has sulphates in it. There is so much unnecessary fear behind sls and sulphate free being marketed as the better option. This shampoo has a clear consistency which means buisness. My hair does not have that itchy feel after washing at all which is a good sign. As a curly haired girly I would repurchase this product as it is that good! Please give it a try and come to your own conclusion 😄
