The best shampoo and conditioner leaves my 4b hair super soft

My daughter uses this for her thick coarse curls. This Product is very hydrating and makes her curls soft and defined. We have tried many different products over the years and this product has been the best for my teenage daughter. It is on the pricey side but it is worth the price for the great results.

I love this line! I have bleached platinum hair and live on a gravel road so my hair would get super dry. I've tried a lot of products but this is the only one I have found that can actually cleanse all the dirt and grime from being out on a farm without stripping my hair that leaves it moisturized until wash day. Love it!

I have wavy, sometimes frizzy, highlighted hair. It has been years since a shampoo and conditioner 'amazed' me. This is even better than Olaplex! This has tamed frizz and given me beautiful waves/curls. I will definitely buy again!

I purchased the Matrix Food for Soft Shampoo and Conditioner back in May, around the same time I started a new seizure medication. Within a week, I noticed significantly increased hair fallout. At first, I assumed it was related to the new medication. I tried everything — increased my hair vitamins, washed less frequently, conditioned more — but nothing helped. I was losing a walnut-sized ball of hair every shower, plus more while styling, when I typically only lose a pea-sized amount (my hair is shoulder-length). Despite this, I continued using the shampoo and conditioner because they did leave my hair soft and shiny. Fast forward six months: I'm still on the same medication, but I ran out of the Matrix products about three weeks ago. To my surprise, my hair fallout has gone back to normal, and I can already see so much new growth! I honestly can't believe I used this product for so long. My ponytail is now less than half as thick as it used to be. I truly hope it grows back — and I hope others read this before experiencing the same kind of hair loss. Please be cautious if you're considering trying this line.

I bought this shampoo after my hairdresser used it during my 2 previous haircuts. In addition to its hydrating quality it has a nice light scent. Recommend.

Awesome smell makes your hair full and no frizz

The product works great, however I do not like the smell.

So far, I love this combo. Its not to heavy but it is very hydrating.

I've noticed my hair thining after use of this product. I've never had this issue before. Like other reviewers state, it happens when you brush your hair after using it (either in or out of shower, doesn't matter.). Disappointing because I LOVE matrix. I have more than 1/2 of my shampoo and conditioner liters left but i'll be throwing them away. (There's a reddit thread dedicated about this product causing hair loss.)

Just started using this shampoo(and conditioner) and I'm in love! Not only does it control the frizz/shine but its also color safe and makes my hair feel extremely soft! 10/10 would recommend this product. If you havent tried it already, you should!

I guess the hint was in the name lol. My fine, colored, 2a wavy hair was feeling dry so I thought i would try something more hydrating. However, this (in combo with the conditioner) made my hair way too soft and unmanageable. I'm sure it has its place, but not if uour hair is fine and medium density.

At first I loved it and after two weeks, my hair waa falling out in the shower and when I combed hair. Stopped using it and my haie stopped falling out. It was parabens and sulfates

although the shampoo wasn't bad itself it's heavily scented, and it's frustrating that almost every brand has heavily scented products

I started using this and the conditioner a few weeks ago and I am obsessed! I noticed a difference in the way my hair look and felt after the first use. It smells good and my hair is so soft and healthy looking. I haven't used any shampoo or conditioner I like as much as I do these.
