The mini matching hot wheel car was a nice added bonus. The instructions were clear and easy for my child to follow with minimal adult intervention. Stickers were difficult to apply on small parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves building sets, but especially loves building car models. This set is geared toward 10 and older. My son, who is 13, built this set in about 30 minutes. He said that the instructions were really straight-forward and not confusing at all. It was very similar to the detailed instructions that come with other name brand sets. He really enjoyed being able to customize what decals he could put on, especially the fact that he could choose what number to make the car and that he could make it his football jersey number. He also liked that you could choose whether you could go with gold or silver rims. A notable bonus was the matching hot wheel. His younger brothers can play with the hot wheel and he can be happy with his built model. He's really looking forward to collecting more sets. I like the fact that the pieces are compatible with other name brands.

Hard enough to keep them entertained and not too hard they wanted to quit. My son also loved that it came with a matching hot wheels car. Super fun. Would buy again.

Very cool that it comes with the matchbox car and also the small customization option of rim color/design. My 11 year old was able to put it together in one sitting, which is great so I don’t end up with pieces all over the floor. Also nice that it got him off the electronics for a solid hour. Excellent toy/activity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels Racer Cadillac kit was a huge hit with my 13 year old! He spent about an hour assembling it and it went together easily and the instructions were easy to follow. He was very impressed that doors on the kit opened and closed. The die cast car that came with it was neat but he felt it could have had a little more detail. He enjoys modifying Brick Shop builds and with this coming with customizations made that easy and fun. The exclusive signature plate can be used as a key chair or it can be clipped into the bottom of the Brick Build. My son clipped it into the Brick Build and he thought that was a cool option. He loves that he can display the Brick Build with the die cast as part of his car collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels Lego set is a car builder’s dream! It’s very cool that it comes with a die cast version as well as the lego set. Building it was a little difficult as some of the pieces were hard to keep in place and I could not get the doors to stay on, but overall it was fun to build. I like that it comes also with different hub caps and decals so I can customize it. 2 cool cars and easy to follow instructions.

They really liked how clear the directions were for them and the easy to connect pieces. The result was a functioning car that they were able to play with in addition to the bonus hot wheels car that with it. The stickers added a stylish decor to the finished product.

All the pieces fit together with ease. The only issue is the front wheel wells did not have enough clearance for the front wheels to roll. Other than that, the car is beautiful, and the build was thoroughly enjoyed by my son and I.

Assembly time for my 11 year old was approximately 1 hour. The instructions were well explained and the pictures were perfect. There were a few pieces that did not want to snap together, but with a little effort they did. There was a clear piece with a defect in the plastic leaving a small streak of black. The car rolls and the doors open as they should. The plate on the bottom is a nice touch. Overall, i would recommend this kit to others.

The bag numbers could be a little more noticeable, my son mentioned the color just blended into the background. The set comes with a piece popper which is always handy. There is a piece for removing the hubcaps and has different wheels to choose from. The set took my 15 year old about 40 minutes to build. He did it all in one setting and it kept his interest.
