Mattel - Mattel Games - UNO: Elite NFL 2024 Core Edition Draft Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set happens to be an add-on. It’s not very clear upon first look that you’ll need a starter pack to be able to utilize this set. It does say on the bottom of the box that starter pack is required, however the writing is very small and could be easily missed. I’d recommend making that a bit more obvious. In addition, these cards come across more like collector cards rather than game cards. Maybe that’s the intention? Unclear as well. Kids did not seem interested in the gameplay aspect of this deck.

I got this as a surprise for the football loving boys in my 4th grade class and while they were excited about the players they were not able to play since I have not been able to find the stater pack that is needed. Cards are good quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited for this Uno version as it's one I'd never seen before! Upon use, i realized that this is actually a booster pack, not the main game. I do also wish there were more detailed instructions for the new sybol cards as well. The cards however are very good quality, both the material and pictures of the players. My kids loved that it came with 4 holographic cards!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is okay was not to impress it is pretty much like uno but you have to buy add on pack to be able to play so if you are buying for adults it would be fun but for kids I would not say so the cards are fun they are just a think and they also have multiple teams one them the package is just like any uno games

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played the card game with my 6 yr old grandson. He was so excited to play with the football players verses just the numbers on the cards. I told him we would keep the foiled card in the wrapper. We played 3 games straight and my grandson bet me the first and last game. He was excited to win the first game. He said he would rather play the football cards verses the regular uno cards even though he has 3 separate uno games because he likes to play uno.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New Uno Elite playing cards are a great way to bring new users/players to the game. Opening the deck was exciting and kept us wondering what Football players we were getting. Cards are sturdy and as thick as the normal playing cards. The special foil cards were a great surprise. Also these new cards bring more ways to play than the basic Uno game. With games like Draft Mode and Dynasty Mode. Our family has enjoyed playing and will look for other packs to build our collection.

However in my eagerness I didn’t read the description and realize we needed the Uno Elite Starter pack! After a quick trip to the store we were back in business! True confession the kids enjoyed this much more than me! My grandsons 18, 15, 10 and 9 knew the teams and players and loved the idea of special foil pack surprise cards. The cards have great graphics of the players and team colors. They are already asking about more packs in hopes of finding additional favorite players and putting together full teams. This is definitely a great twist on the traditional UNO game theme. It’s engaging and fun with cards to collect to enhance play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was exciting to receive this during the NFL games! My young boys enjoyed opening up the cards and going through them to see who was "shiny". My older son was familiar with all the players and was excited to see who he got. As we were playing, the boys had fun "razzing" each other about what card they played. Even my husband, who is also an NFL fan, had a great time playing! The cards were very sturdy and in great condition. The graphics are excellent and organized. Be aware that you NEED the starter pack to play the game. Overall, we think this is super fun and will definitely take it on vacations too!

The whole family enjoys playing this game! I love that it’s something that we can all sit down and do as a family that the kids are actually interested in. Another plus is that there are no screens involved. The kids love bragging over which players they have in their hand! It also comes with four holographic collectable cards that are playable. The other nice thing about this game is that you can buy multiple decks and add them together. The kids have been asking me to get them another deck so they can find more football players on them. We highly recommend this game to NFL fans, Uno fans, and anyone who wants a new game to play for family game night. I received this product free in exchange for a review but opinions are 100% my own and my children’s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was exciting to open this up during football season and see what players we’d get! The foil cards were a cool addition, too. They are the same thickness as the standard cards, but they stand out with their shine. There were a variety of players and teams in the pack, many popular players included. We didn’t realize we needed a starter pack in order to play the game with these, so until we get that we can’t use them to play. There are many new symbols compared to the traditional UNO game, so there will be some teaching/learning involved. Overall, seems like a cool twist on UNO that will be fun to try out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This UNO Elite draft pack comes with 56 playable NFL player cards. It also comes with 4 collectable cards. These cards appear to be packed at random. All of the cards have a good amount of color and detail. They also include the game color and instructions. The collectable cards are very vibrant and flashy. You can also use the collectable cards in the game if you like as well. This is a way to incorporate the NFL into your game of UNO for fans of the game. I’m not sure how many players are available from each team or if the number per team varies. I suppose one downfall would be trying to collect the players you want. This could prove to be difficult and potentially expensive. All in all, this is a good concept for fans of the NFL that also love UNO. Please note that this specific product is an add on for gathering more playable cards. In order to use the product, you will need the “UNO Elite Starter Pack Card Game” as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The UNO Elite Draft Packs are a complete hit for football fans of all ages. My child loved the draft pack and getting all 60 player cards. And grandma also loved all of the player cards! They played by drafting players and making teams. We got players from all but 5 NFL teams (of course our favorite hometown team was one of the teams we didn't get!). Would be excellent if the manufacturer could guarantee that each draft pack contained at least one player from all 32 NFL teams. The special foil cards are fun, but I don't think make or break the product (we'd be fine without the foil cards). It would also be helpful if the NFL team names were printed somewhere on the cards. It takes a little effort to understand what each of the Uno icons mean on the bottom of the cards - but there is an instruction key included. This is a fun pack and makes watching football games even better.

NOTE that this is an expansion pack and you do need the main "starter" pack to be able to play. My boys love "collecting" card and these expansion packs are just that. They love getting the expansion packs to build uno games with their favorite players.

The kids didn’t enjoy this specific UNO card game nor could we figure out the correct way to play it.
