Description

Players who love the UNO card game will love UNO Golf and its exciting twist! The goal is to achieve the lowest score possible, just like the actual game of golf. Instead of holding cards in their hand, players start the game by creating a 2x3 grid of face-down cards. Then, they swap high-value cards for low ones to outwit their opponents and hit low-value scores. How low can they go? Special Action Cards like the Double Draw 2 will have players adding cards to their grid. Unique graphic symbols added to each card help identify the color(s) on that card, allowing players with any form of color blindness to play. Designed for 2 to 8 players ages 7 years old and up, UNO Golf card game combines fun and strategy for family and friends alike! Colors and decorations may vary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved playing Uno Golf as a family! The game is quick to play and involves just the right amount of strategy for the whole family! I liked that the game was fast paced and included fun action cards that changed up the game! Also a fun change to have to get the lowest score instead of the highest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Uno is always fun. Golf Uno is slightly different in that you place your cards in 3x2 grids. As with regular Uno the lowest score wins.Other than the name and trying to get the lowest score I'm not sure how else it pertains to golf. It was fun to play as a family. My son thinks it would be cool to have a baseball Uno. I think the classic just can't be beat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun different way to play Uno, so the kids were excited to try it. They didn't love it as much as classic Uno though. I think they just didn't want to count as high on this game in comparison to traditional Uno. It was a tough crowd. The adults seemed to like it a bit more than the kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have Family Game Night every Saturday night. Uno No Mercy has become a favorite, so trying Uno Zero is a big deal. We finally tried it tonight and it's a lot of fun. The first couple of hands we played were a little awkward, but once we got the hang of it, it moved pretty quickly. There's a nice element of chance embedded in the skillful play. Having a designated number of hands to play is nice, too. This version is not cutthroat, but still competitive. I believe Uno Zero will become a new family favorite and we will play it often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My youngest and I like to play UNO and enjoy trying out the different variations of UNO that are available. UNO Golf is no exception! It took a bit to figure out how to play, but once we played through once we quickly caught on. The game incorporates elements of golf such as you play 9 rounds and your goal is to end up with the least amount of points. I also love the fact that they made this product color-blind friendly utilizing special graphics (square for blue, circle for red) to help identify the different colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a cute variation of uno with a golf spin. My son, who is twelve and myself played and enjoyed it. We had fun learning a new variation. It was good for a few rounds but there’s nothing like the real thing is there?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is totally different from traditional UNO and I love that. I was worried it would be the same but with different cards. It’s challenging but not so much you don’t enjoy the game. My family of 4 with ages 11, 14, 45, and 53 all enjoyed it. I like the more you play it the more you can find strategies to help you do better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this game during a rainy afternoon with my 10 year-old daughter and my husband. At first, the game was a little bit confusing. It took us a couple of rounds before we got the hang of it. Everyone gets six cards arranged in three columns of two cards each. Everyone flips over one card at the beginning of play. Then everyone takes turns either drawing a card from the draw pile or a card from the discard pile. It was nice to see the action cards from the original Uno in play here. What my husband didn’t like was that there was a double draw two card and also a draw two card. You lost a turn if you drew a draw two card, but not on a double draw 2. He kept on forgetting which card you lose your turn on. My husband also wondered why the wild card was missing, as he thought that would keep it in the spirit of the original Uno. For example, if you had a column and the colors weren’t matching you could use the wild card and replace one of your cards and then change it to any color you want. It’s really good game for families to play. There were tears and lots of laughter! While some of us were a little cutthroat with the game rules, everyone had a blast! This game is for seven years and older, for 2 to 8 players.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8-year-old and I played UNO Golf and really enjoyed it! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the game took about 15–20 minutes—perfect for a quick round. It kept us both engaged, and he’s already asking to play again. Great mix of UNO fun with a new twist!

Fun family game with deeper-than-expected strategy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is filled with highly skilled and competitive game players. We enjoy gathering on Sunday afternoons for board and card games. This last Sunday, we tried out Uno Golf. We were delighted to discover after a round or two that this variation on the classic card game is strategically deeper than we initially thought it would be. The timing of clearing columns made for opportunities to work together against a surging opponent. The game is simple enough that the children in our group enjoyed playing alongside the adults (and it should be noted that there is no need to hold multiple cards in one's hand, which makes it more physically accessible for younger players and others who might struggle with that type of coordination). While we didn't have any such players in our group, we all noticed the symbols on the cards that would allow colorblind players to play and thought that was a good addition to the admittedly colorful cards. The title of the game is a bit of a stretch-- it really bears little resemblance to golf, other than competing for the lowest score and recommending a nine-round game-- so if you aren't a golfer, don't let the name put you off. Time will tell whether Uno Golf has lasting playability, but our experience so far (assuming we've understood the rules correctly) has been surprisingly delightful!

Cool Spin on the OG UNO Card Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Uno Golf was so much fun. We have older kids and since they were younger uno has been a fam favorite. The idea of the game being relatable to golf in the 9 rounds and lowest score was appealing since we have some golf lovers in the family (didn’t have to do much convincing to get my husband and high school son to join in.) You do not need to know anything about golf to love this game however. Play area you definitely need to play on a flat level surface for this game. We played on our kitchen table. Packaging was pretty typical of the UNO products with the package not being easily opened. Even being careful we ripped the box slightly opening. The rules are pretty straight forward. I especially like the inclusion of the special shapes for individuals with visual impairments to participate. Overall, we loved this game and already plan to have more family join in on the fun next time they visit.
