Q: Product came folded in half a has a bump down the middle. Will this flatten out?

A: Hello, Thanks for your question! What you’re seeing is totally normal. Our toppers are compressed and folded for shipping, so they can take up to 24 hours to fully expand once unpacked. Any temporary bumps or waves usually smooth out on their own as the foam decompresses. To help it recover faster, lay the topper flat in a warm, well-ventilated room and gently smooth it out by hand. Really comfortable!
After buying a $2,000 mattress from chain store Mattress Firm, I discovered that the mattress I thought I bought, was NOT the soft mattress I had tested in the show room. After being told I just needed to ‘break it in,’ I finally gave up after 7 months. Happily, I found Viscosoft online. The reviews were excellent and I ordered a Viscosoft Dusk mattress topper. Now I can comfortably sleep with no more shoulder pain. Phew! SO happy. Great product. I especially like the well made topper zip cover with non-slip backer. True quality!

purchased 2 queen dusk toppers that did not expand properly. after discussing problem with customer service replacement units were shipped and all went perfect with the new ones. very happy with the dusk toppers

Disappointed
This item was to replace a several years old, 4 inch Viscosoft Dual Layer topper. A change in mattresses dictated a thinner topper so I ordered 2 inch Dusk. I unpacked it when I received it on a Tuesday. I unrolled it and removed the cover to give the cover an initial wash to remove any debris or dust from assembly. Wow! the foam pad looked really bad. I spread it out to recover compression. It's now Friday and I'm still waiting. It looks horrible and has some stains or discoloration on one end and one side. My old 4 inch Viscosoft topper only took about 30 hours to recover. This one only has a few small areas that are close to 2 inches. The rest ranges from 1/2 inch to maybe one inch. It's the worst memory foam EVER! It needs replaced.

Don’t waste your money!
This product is the worst online purchase I have ever made. The topper is warped and did not expand at all after opening. Do not waste your money. I submitted a return request online as instructed. Still waiting to hear back regarding return instructions. I went to Walmart and bought a memory foam mattress topper for $80. It expanded and was 2 inches thick and flat in 3 hours. The viscosity topper still looks exactly like it did when I pulled it out of the box 2 days ago. I will have no trouble putting this thing back in the original packing. What a disappointment.

GREAT TOPPER
We love this mattress topper. It was packaged well. It was below freezing outside when delivered so it took a few hours to fully fluff up but when it did it was just what we wanted. Love the cover also.

We had bought a topper
We had bought a topper for our RV as very few manufacturers carry a sort queen made just for RVs. It was a complete game changer. We immediately loved our topper and went from awful to pure luxury in our RV. So we bought one for our Master bed in the house for added comfort. It is just as luxurious and been wonderful. The straps to keep it in place work perfect for even our deep memory mattress. Well worth the $ very happy with our purchase. Although we do not notice a Lavender smell to the topper but that's a minimal worry compared to the quantity of the toppers.

Great Mattress Topper
This mattress topper has been a life saver. I am a side sleeper and have been having many sleepless nights due to pain in whatever side I am sleeping on. Our mattress is not that old so did not think that was the problem. However read on line that mattress toppers could be useful for hip pain. Read reviews and found several that recommended this Viscosoft topper. Put it on our king size bed and had no pain after the first night. It has been amazing. I am not sure yet if it keeps cool as it is winter. I am always hot in bed and am hoping this topper won't be too hot in summer. So far it has been amazing and I would recommend that you try it.
