My overall impression of this Maxi-Cosi Wheeled Car Seat Travel Pack was how spacious it is. I have three kids under 6 years old and prefer to travel with three car seats. This bag easily fits all three when I nest them together. I loved that the pack has multiple handles to grab it by. They are located on the top, right side, and the back straps. When trying to get through an airport with three kids, the backpack style is a really vital feature. The zipper opening goes almost the entire way around, except for about six inches at the bottom so loading and unloading the seats from the pack is very quick and easy. I love that the pack is all black because, let's be honest, airports are filthy. The faux leather accents are a classy touch and this pack is much more sophisticated looking than those big ugly drawstring styles I have seem. I was able to use this bag for a weekend getaway and it made bringing three seats on a trip much less stressful than I anticipated. There was even enough space in the bag to stash some other necessities. Our car seats arrived at baggage claim both ways in great condition thanks to this bag. The Maxi Cosi Travel Carseat bag is amazing! I have 3 young boys all in car seats so traveling with them is quite an ordeal. For our last flight I purchased a different kind of car seat bag online and ⅔ of them broke in the airport parking lot… they literally didn't make it on the plane before falling apart. It's a pain to deal with traveling with a car seat in general, but the fact that this was compatible with our Maxi Cosi car seat made the whole experience much easier. It fits comfortably, it rolls easily on its wheels, and even has backpack straps. It also held up well to the bumping and scraping you'd expect from a typical trip through the airport, and like all Maxi cosi stuff it looks nice as well. It's a plain, sleek design, and while that doesn't matter much to functionality, it's still a nice feature. If you're in the market for a car seat bag and you have a Maxi cosi car seat, this is a very good accessory.

My initial impressions of the Maxi-Cosi Wheeled Car Seat Bag are that it is sturdy, convenient, fits well, and will be useful for travel, but in the spirit of full disclosure I have not actually traveled with it yet, so I cannot speak towards how well it holds up after being tossed around by a baggage handling crew. The woven fabric and stitching seems thick and sturdy and it is easy to fit a Maxi-Cosi car seat (we have the Pria Chill) into it. It is not the most comfortable to wear on your back-- but no car seat in any bag is, really-- and for a short person it is particularly huge and unwieldy, but would likely be more comfortable the taller/broader you are. While the wheels do add some ease if you're moving the car seat from one spot to another, the height of a car seat is such that you probably won't be wheeling it around the airport like you would an actual suitcase, so to me they're not make or break. This Maxi Cosi Travel Carseat bag is great! The material is super durable, much more so than those bright red gate check bags - you know the ones, inexpensive and lucky to last a single trip? The seams on this are reinforced, the shoulder straps are padded, and the design is simple and sleek. The straps fold up and tuck away nicely when not in use, but can be quickly removed and buckled into place. We use it with our Pria All-In-One Convertible seat, affectionately known as "the rocket ship". The seat is huge, but so comfortable and safe that we come back to it every time (we have 4 kids). Lugging that thing around for travel is no small feat though. Carrying it by the straps is heavy and difficult, especially when trying to maneuver with small kids or other luggage. This bag not only fit the seat perfectly (almost like it was specifically designed for that), but made handling much more manageable. The wheels are very convenient, but I cannot speak to how they would hold up being tossed around with checked airline luggage. In addition to backpack straps, there is a handle on top and one on the side for easy lifting. The bag folds up and would easily fit in an airline overhead bin if it was used to get a carseat onto a plane for travel. When folded, it also easily fits in a large suitcase or duffel, or would slide under a bed, so it doesn't take up much room while on the road. It's still a bulky seat, don't get me wrong, but when you want to travel safely with littles, you do what you gotta do! Honestly, the Maxi-Cosi seats are already a bit pricier than other options on the market, so do you really want to stress about that investment? The fabric is thick, the spinner wheels fully articulate + glide effortlessly, and the reinforced base keeps it upright. We seem to like to cut it close with flights, so I often find myself navigating check-in solo with all of our baggage and children while my husband handles the car and sprints to meet us. Those wheels were a GAME CHANGER on our Disney trip this past month as all three of my girls (ages 2.5, 5 & 7) could help with the carseats (not possible with our previous backpacks). I was given this Car seat travel bag to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was perfect timing as we received right before our first attempt at flying with our toddler. The bag was very durable and it was very easy to load the car seat in since it had a nice solid flat bottom. The wheels made it very easy to get through the airport and the nice leather handle made it easy to load and unload in the trunk. We had no issues checking the bag and upon our arrival, we had no damage to the bag or the car seat itself. We loved the ease of having our own seat for our rental car while we were away from home. There are a few things I didn't care for with this bag though. The backpack straps are good, but I struggled as a petite mom and was unable to carry it, so I would have to rely on my husband if I ever needed to use that feature. I loved the leather handle, but I think this bag could also benefit from having a retractable handle as well to make the handle a little higher and prevent having to bend over to pull it. All in all, I would recommend this product because it really did make our trip much easier.

Traveling with kids is stressful, let's be honest! This makes traveling less stressful with one less thing to hold! I'm so impressed with the quality of the bag, when you zipper the bag it feels so durable and strong. The wheels are smooth and strong. The bag is also very beautiful, it has brown leather looking details throughout making it extremely stylish! I also love that the bag has a slot for your ID which is so smart. How many times have I shoved my ID in different pockets throughout the airport and then couldn't remember where I put it - now I have a designated spot for it. When the bag is not in use, you simply collapse it and it folds flat, making it easy to store taking up minimal room. The fabric makes me think that it will hold up through lots of travel and storage. The wheels are a great addition as my car seat is pretty heavy! It is probably my favorite feature of this bag. We used this when transporting my son's car seat between our house and my in-laws house. My son was staying at my in-laws last weekend so we wanted an easy way to store and transport his car seat. My MIL had her knees replaced last year so we were hoping the wheels would help and they did!!! My MIL had no issue pulling the car seat along, and my 2.5 year old was even able to pull the bag along! I really like the design of this in the sense of when you open the zippers, it is so easy to put your car seat in and zip it back up. I could easily do this myself. This is definitely an upgrade from the inexpensive version I purchased last-minute online before our last trip. Fave features: - Swiveling/spinner wheels, way easier to maneuver than the standard in-line wheels- can push as well as pull - Heavy duty base feels really sturdy, important for carrying larger convertable seats - the rigid square also makes it easier to load in the seat - Brown leather-look accents make this utilitarian travel necessity more attractive - Padded shoulder straps - these are definitely more comfortable than my other bag - there's no getting around the fact that a car seat bag will be banging around on you if you wear as a backpack, so these help! The one feature I would change is the zippers with the leather-look pulls - while they look nice, it doesn't allow for a lock to bind them. This is just something I prefer to have on all of my luggage.

Overall the bag looks very nice, it's all black with brown leather features. The wheels are good quality and the bag itself it very lightweight which is important to us for travel. The car seat goes in the bag easily and the double zippers are a great feature to close it up smoothly. I really love look of this bag- the brown leather added onto the all black design is perfect! It does have an option to be carried as a back pack as well, we don't expect to use that very often but nice to have the option. The straps for the back pack tuck in very well for those who chose not to use it that way. We can not wait to bring this along on our next trip.
