A bit on the light side empty, once you fill them with potting soil and plants they look great. The watering system is perfect and makes it almost impossible to overwater. Highly recommended.

I have two of the 4' window boxes and two of the 5' and I love how these look and how well they work. I have received many compliments from my neighbors and people walking by.

These things are as versatile as your imagination can make them. I painted this one to match the house and made a few minor modifications and now use it as a "Package Pedestal" near the front door so delivery folks have a place to put some of the many packages we receive.

I wish the manufacturer had put castors on the bottom of this container. After filling it with soil, it's so heavy that it's almost impossible to move around. We're going to have to make a platform to put it on with castors so I can move it under cover during the winter.

My Vienna plant pots are beautiful, I have not planted no plants as yet, but will soon, and will be posting pictures.

This window box is amazing. The picture does not do justice to how huge my coleus plants are. They are on the north side of my house and are really thriving (I took this picture on a 100 degree day and they aren't wilting at all!) this is my second year using this box and I use it 3 seasons a year. The results are always amazing. It was easy to install and the water reservoir is generous. I think I water every week or two in the spring, and every few days in the summer when the plants are big. The soil can get a little mossy if you use a heavy potting mix so make sure to use something for self watering pots.

I wanted to add life to a corner and these planters do the trick. I ordered black as I already had one. The flowers are just growing but soon will take over. These planters are wonderful and although a bit pricey, will last me for many many years. They are exposed to hot sun and snow all year long - never fade, crack or warp. I use them for all seasons to decorate my patio. They are large enough grow perennials, annuals or shrubs. And as they are self watering (once plants are established) I don't have to water often, even during the hottest weeks. I highly recommend.

I was looking for a tall planter with curves to soften the look of the front porch. I wanted ample height for the planted vines to trail down. What I like most is the fact they're light weight even after the soil and plants are added. Good for my back. And withstood a long windy day. Also, they're made in the USA. Big plus!

They are large and make a visible statement on my front porch, but not too large to be overwhelming or obstruct the view if you're sitting on the porch. I love that they are self watering. My only complaint is that the black shows water spots after a rain. I just wipe them down and that's it, but I may have ordered the white to eliminate that extra "to do" on my list.

Used this on my condo lanai for my own flier garden.
