Deducting a star because as a previous reviewer mentioned, there is a sticky/tacky glue securing the packaging to the mirror and you need to be VERY careful when taking this off so the glue doesn’t spread and ruin the mirror! For how much this toy costs, you’d think they’d consider how they attached this piece. We used rubbing alcohol and a razor to take it off and it still left a mark.

Great toy but my daughter had an allergic reaction to the makeup brush on her eyelid. So just be aware that your kid could have more sensitive skin than you think. We threw that part out, and the rest has been great! She’s just turned five and has been loving using her makeup set.

My daughter loves this thing! She saw it in store and had to have it. We’ve played salon so much and it’s helped us to bond and spend quality time together. Love watching her little imagination work.

I bought this for about $30 now it’s $64.99????!! What? I would say it’s cute but barely worth the $30 I paid. If you want this go somewhere else or wait until it’s not overpriced.

Okay, so I was a little skeptical about this toy for the price so I waited for a sale. Got it as a bday gift for my 3 year old and wow, it’s a HIT. Even my five year old is joining the fun. And the quality is way better than I expected. Love that it’s wood and not plastic-she’s spent hours playing with it. It came with more pieces than I expected and it’s great for open ended play. After actually having it, I’d have spent the $65 on it but I mean, a sale is always ideal. Seems like it will last and hold up well. Doug and Melissa toys are usually pretty good quality and this doesn’t disappoint.
