baby uninterested in this book but very interested in lamaze peekaboo book, melissa and doug don't make great products i am realizing

Great peek a boo book
This is well made and durable. It has so many peek a boo flaps on each page so it keeps my 9 month old grandson very entertained.

Nice book but baby animal pieces need longer ribbons.
The text and drawings are great. There is a design flaw that can be helped by consumer. The ribbons with baby animals on the end are too short to be successfully manipulated. I cut them off and use the baby animal pieces alone to put in page pockets.

Some pages more exciting than others
It’s cute! It’s not perfect but my daughter enjoyed it from around 6-12 months. She loves the page with the metallic type leaves that hide the animals the best, the rest is a little boring to her. There’s a page with clouds covering different objects but the material the clouds are made of is not rigid enough to stay in place so when you turn the page the peek a boos are mostly already uncovered which defeats the purpose.

A good but not great choice so far
Not as interested in this book as we had hoped. She likes other books better. Needs more tactile interest perhaps? She loves rubbing soft bunny fur or rough dinosaur scales in other books as we read and turn the pages. This book goes to bed with her because it is soft. Maybe in the near future?

Great for babies- and durable!
The baby absolutely loves lifting all of the flaps. I love it because he can't rip off the flaps, and the dogs love it because it's got a squeaker in it. Also, the dogs can't rip the book when they get their hands on it, too. I also really like how there are multiple flaps per page. Definitely a great purchase!

Great product for babies
Purchased for upcoming airline trip with twin one year olds and a four year old. Needed something that is lightweight, quiet and can be played with on a lap with a child. This should work very well. The one year olds love to play peek a boo and this book is perfect for that. There are 18 flaps in this book that are very well made and thoughtout and use different fabrics. The one year olds will get wonderful playtime with this book. I love the well made plastic carrying bag with a great handle that the book comes in. Nice that the toy is machine washable Great Melissa and Doug product.

Grandson likes this book very much. Actually, both the 5 mo and the 2.5 yr old enjoyed it. Bright colors draw their attention, crinkly areas and flaps that they can move keep them engaged.
