Melissa & Doug Swivel Bridge Wooden Train Set (47pc)

Grandkids 4 and 2 enjoy! 4 yr old quickly learned how bridge needs support and 2 yr old can play along side at his level. Adding to set they already have.

Such a good purchase. Would highly recommend. Both my boys (2&4 year olds) can build it and love playing with it. The rails are double sided- which is so amazing. The bridge and tunnel are such a fun and creative aspect. Can’t wait to buy more trains to add to this! If you’re on the fence, purchase this!!

My 3 year old grandson loves this! He loves taking it apart and rebuilding different track patterns. Keeps him busy for hours on end! I also got the figure 8 track to go along with this ..

I was excited to get this for my son for Christmas. It’s a cute set but the wooden pieces are really poor quality, some are not double sided and seem to have damaged ends. The swivel bridge is useless because the pieces don’t line up so the train falls off the track repeatedly..

I love Melissa and Doug products but this one fails the test. This was the main Christmas gift for my 3 year old but the wheels do not all spin properly on the train pieces and it is constantly frustrating to keep the train on the track for the both of us. Another con is the swivel pice does not line up and click together so it is shifted from the rest of the track. Very disappointed in this product.

Bought these for my nephews, the quality is just as good as when I was a kid. : ) I may have played with the trainset more than my nephews did!

The pieces of the bridge are glued together crooked and the gates seem to be positioned incorrectly. This prevents the tracks on the bridge from lining up properly. Trains cannot cross the bridge without derailing.

Love M&D products. Purchased 2 train bridge sets for our 2 grandsons for Christmas.

My only negative comment is that sometimes the cars seem to fall off the track too easily, but otherwise it's a great basic set. Enough pieces to make a big track without all the extra stuff my 2 year old would probably try to put in his mouth.

This train is cute and it has a lot of track to keep it growing so it will be played with for a long time. The only negative is the cars are supposed to stay together with magnets but they are so weak they keep falling apart.

I am pleased with this train set except for the fact that the rotating bridge does not fully align when it is in place with the rest of the track. The red plastic part is not quite right, plus the track on the abutment is glued down crooked so it does not line up with the bridge track. Cute set...a shame it was not made properly.

I was pretty disappointed with this product. Melissa and Doug usually make great products. I got this for my son who is two. He loves trains and was super excited. I also got him another pack of trains by Melissa and Doug to add to the two that come with this kit. When he connects the trains and tries to pull them one or more always fall over. I thought maybe this would not be problem if it was on the track but even on the track the trains tip over easily unless you pull them in a direct straight line. Any curve causes a train line of more than three cars to fall over. My son gets frustrated because he loves the train and wants to connect them and play but can't really do much with it because it falls over. I think the problem might be that the trains are narrow on the base and too tall.

My three year old grandson loves this train set. He also runs his cars from the car carrier on the track. It is a good size set for grandparent's house.

Train set fit with another set we already had and the Chuggington set too. There are endless ways of putting them all together :)

we bought this addition to our train set for our 4 year olds b-day... he loves the swivel bridge and tunnel! i was worried the support blocks would fall easily but even without them, the bridge is solid. my only recommendation is that these sets should include male-male pieces (with 2 dowels) so that we can attach to existing sets we have... or at least suggest we need to buy these pieces separately because we also bought the mountain (4 pieces) and we can,t connect so i had to place an extra order for male-male connectors.
