Q: Are these train tracks compatible with IKEA Lillabo train set?

A: We have this train and also an IKEA wooden train and the pieces don’t fit together very well. The IKEA connectors are slightly bigger and you have to pound on them to get the two brands to connect.

All my 3 year old daughter wanted last Christmas was a train. We considered more expensive sets/train table etc. This train is perfect. I love that it fits in its own container and the container becomes part of the track. It’s big enough that she adds other toys to set up a town around it. 8 months later it is one of her most played with toys (and trust me we have way too many toys).

My son loves this set. For the price, you get a ton of pieces to make new layouts with. My son loves getting creative and figuring out new ways to set up his track. I love that both pieces of the container can be used in the layout. The battery powered train is pretty powerful and goes up and down the ramps pretty easily. Highly recommend this set for gift giving, birthday gift, and for your own kids to enjoy!!

Poorly designed. The rubber wheels on the engine wore out about a month after he got it for his birthday. Which means the engine needs help getting up the track. Even brand new the engine barely had enough power to pull both log cars up. The "y" splits need atleast 1 more otherwise the engine gets stuck in a never ending loop. The "y" pieces also don't line up with the other pieces, making the train derail. The pieces fit so loosely, and the angles aren't quite right on the curved pieces that it gets hung up.the worst part? Our kid loves the heck out of this toy, and continues to play with it until he gets so mad he stops playing with it. Again and again.

Wooden tracks don’t stay together so the train can’t stay on the tracks. The train cannot go up the ramps only down. I wish I can return this! I don’t believe the price for this train track is worth it.

I bought it for my 2 and a half year old son and he really enjoys seeing the train go by on all the tracks, he always wants to pass by playing with it, I liked the implementation of the bridge they put in, although the train has a hard time going up it, you have to give it a push
