submitted by Jill D - 6 years ago

submitted byKDUN - 3 years ago

  • A: Hi Jill, Our toys are manufactured in a number of countries, including the United States. Each one is clearly marked with its country of origin. We have many people in the USA making our toys and have three facilities, including our headquarters, which are staffed by employee’s right here in the United States! Regardless of where each toy is made, we run it through the same rigorous and stringent testing procedure to ensure its safety. We have followed this same testing procedure for the more than 30 years we’ve been in business. Best, Your Friends at Melissa & Doug

Q: Why is this toy for age 3+? Is it due to small parts or height?

submitted by Kate - 2 years ago

    Buy This One!

We received the other, slightly more expensive, Melissa & Doug cleaning set as a gift and it was a nightmare. I sold it and bought this set and it’s exactly what we wanted! If you’re trying to decide between the two, pick this one! Especially if your little one is a tinkerer (they will pull the other set apart!)

Toddler is enjoying helping clean up!

Easy to put together, sturdy enough, doesn’t take up a ton of space, nice bright colors. Knocking off a star because each item hangs on the stand via a string loop, which my toddler can’t maneuver. I’d like to see a version with plastic hooks or something that’s easier for small fingers to hang up. Otherwise, would recommend!

    Kiddo Approved!

I got this for my 18 month old niece for Christmas and she was instantly obsessed! She was in a "cleaning" frenzy and looked so proud of herself! My 3 year old nephew had his eye on it all Christmas, so I just got him his own set for his birthday and he's equally chuffed!

Bought this set for my daughters who love helping clean. The stand is very durable, the handles are made out of wood so probably not the best option for smaller children.
