A: Hi Skip - the front wheel does not turn independently. The scooter is equipped with "lean to turn" technology so the wheels turn as your weight shifts on the scooter. This is done to prevent falls.

A: Unfortunately, the handlebar on the Melo Sidewinder does not adjust height. It is a fixed bar to provide a more stable ride but is built at a height that is comfortable for most riders.

A: Hi Lisa - Yes the Sidewinder comes with a one piece handlebar that attaches to the stem tube with 2 easy to fasten screws. This securely locks the handlebars and prevents any rattling when riding like some other scooters. Hope this helps!
