    Excellent boot

    Leave the house, these are on my feet. Great ankle support. Better for softscape but hold up well in my suburban environment. On my fourth pair and can not see any reason to look elsewhere for a more comfortable and durable boot.

    Favorite boots of all.

    Love these boots. After two military enlistments, my feet have made their home in more boots than I can count. Rocky S2Vs are my favorite hands down. This is at least my fourth pair of Rocky S2Vs and will gladly buy another when these wear out in a few years.

    Rock Solid!

    I have worn my Rocky's for 5 years straight through 1 deployment to the Middle East and countless duty days I have beaten these to death and they are still going. The best combination of comfort and durability. I am only just now considering buying another pair due to wear and tear but I could easily get another year out of them.

    Best boots I’ve owned

    I bought these in basic training broken them in on the hammer which sucked but after that then have been the best boots I’ve owned. I wear them everyday I’ve had them for almost two years and I’m probably going to get the same boots because it’s about time to retire them

    I own the sv2 and the sv2 predators that I ware in the spring and summer months for the simple fact they breathe better then a full grain leather boot. With that being said rocky and the sv2 have my business. Super comfortable

    Best bang for the buck

    I buy a new pair every year for almost 15 years now. Best tactical boot ever. Very dependable and durable. I'll never buy anything other than rocky.

    Well made and comfortable

    Insufficient ankle support

    Relatively comfortable boot, but ankle support is compromised since my size (13 W) has an excessively large upper ankle circumference which does not allow for proper tightening. In other words, the upper parts of the enclosure touch other each before completely tightening which means insufficient support.

    Very durable

    I found a pair of these at a thrift store, and absolutely loved them. 4ish years later, they finally wore out, so I bought a new pair. I Love Them. The ties aren’t my favorite other than that, definitely recommend them.

    Only size 18 Combat Boots available. Super Comfy!

    Granted these are the only combat boots I can currently find that are size 18. I love these. My feet never hurt from wearing these too long. Great job for accommodating the soldiers with large feet.

    My Favorite Uniform Boot

    I'm on my 2nd pair of these in the national guard, and once they are broken in they are a tough boot to beat in any conditions. Will wear these for the rest of my career!

    Best pair of boots you can get

    bought these boots when I was in the army and have put more miles and abuse on them than I could imagine them withstanding. They still are holding up, albeit I will need to get a new pair in the next few months, but compared to every other boot I have tried these are the most comfortable and durable of them all. Worth their weight in gold and are the only ones I will buy.

    Disapointing, poort quality control

    I purchased this boot about a month ago. The boots run small, mostly in width. You may be returning the boot to get your same size in wide. Another issue is the tongue. They really skimp on the materials here in that the tongue is not wide enough Leaving the edges visible. Additionally, the tongue is not properly centered when sewn to the boot. it really looks tacky. I had three pairs in the process of exchanging the boots. They were all like this,. I would keep looking, possibly for a different brand.

    I've purchased 3 pairs of s2v boots. :(

    I've purchased 3 pairs of these boots in the last year. 1 pair of 9w that was way oversized and had a defect over the left ankle bone area of the boot. I ordered a second pair of 8.5 w that the right boot was way to tight. With a defect in the right boot. I ended up with another pair of 9w that has a defect in the right boot across the top of the foot that makes the boot to tight even untied. It's almost like the foot last has changed the current foot last is smaller than the original pair I bought over a year ago. There is no consistency in the construction of these boots. It's going to keep me from buying other products.

    Can’t Wait

    I had the original S2V back when in the army 12 years ago and they were one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I enjoyed the flat footbed (some manufacturers have a raised heel) which made the boots feel more secure and less likely to roll my ankle which I’ve done numerous times in classic style military boots. The only gripe I had with the original is that the tread wore out on concrete fairly quickly. I can’t wait to break these in and take them out for a hike. Putting these on again is going to bring back some good memories.

    I’ve been buying this same boot for probably over 15-18 years the last 5 pair I bought broke up within 5-8 months Stitching comes out holding sole and soon after its flapping..im done if boots are only going to last 8 months ill buy cheap ones twice a year
